A year ago I started working for the Westgate Inn & Suites. At first it seemed like a promising job however what seemed to be promising turned into a terrible work experience. The Owner "Raj Sethi" treats all his workers like they are animals. If you request for a day off you are threatened with being fired. If you do everything right he fabricates issues and belittles your work and then again threatened with being fired. I cannot believe how many people that either quite or get fired each month. He will blame everyone else for problems within the hotel but himself. The hotel fails each day and month because he does not know how to run a business. A hotel is within the service industry no surprise means "to serve". That does not mean giving good paying guests terrible rooms. The rooms here are disgusting. I would never stay here with my son even if the room was free. I lived in Clarksville for over 15 years and years ago this hotel was disgusting and little has changed. He pretends to live at the hotel as a way to improve business. Actually he lives at the hotel for (1) he likes to babysit his workers and feel like he is in control,"yes he is a huge egomaniac". (2) It is a way to stay away from real responsibilities for example being a dad or a husband. I am sure someone will get fired for me writing this however it will catch up to him soon enough, when someone is smart enough to file harassment charges and or intolerable work conditions. I am not a disgruntled employee that was fired, I left on my own. I am just warning anyone who seeks employment to stay clear from this place. If you are not fired within the first couple weeks of working, I guarantee you will quit.
