I purchased a new Whirlpool front load washer from a reputable, licensed dealer. After a few months, the machine started becoming louder and louder. finally, when it began squeaking very loudly, I called to have them repair it (I assumed it needed to be balanced). It turned out that the bearings were completely gone/worn out. The company refused to honor the warrantee or assume any liability for the faulty product. The manager at the customer service read from a script, refused service, and refused any recourse. I will NEVER buy any whirlpool product ever again.
