White Bear Lake Rebate Center, MN REBATE RIPOFF PROCESSING CENTER - REFUSED TO PAY ME MY CINGULAR GO PHONE REBATE THAT WAS DUE ME White Bear Lake Minnesota

I purchased a Cingular Go Phone in December, 2006 that came with a $15 rebate. I followed the rebate instructions carefully....sent in ALL the required info as per their instructions....had to send it in 90 days after purchase and no later than 120 days after purchase of phone. I received a confirmation from them that my rebate was being processed but it never arrived. I phoned them several times to inquire and they always said it was delayed but it would arrive. Then one day I phoned them and their number was no longer a working number. Their former number is 866 607-9877.

After spending hours on the phone with AT & T we were able to trace the non working number to White Bear Lake Rebate Center in MN. Their new number is 888 843-2485. When you phone the new number it asks you for an order number ....but since my rebate was expunged from their records I cannot get connected to a person at the center. This is a scam operation.

I am surprised that AT & T is not on to them and has not done something to protect the interests of their customers. If anyone knows who to contact with regard to this ...State Attorney etc. This is serious consumer fraud and needs to be dealt with.
