After going through the presentation and all and purchasing a package. I did receive some decent hotel rates a couple of times but slowly but surely I started finding better rates on other sites. I even called to check on a hotel and they gave me a rate. Since they also promised to beat anyone's rate, I told him that Choice hotels has a room in the same hotel and oceanfront for a cheaper rate. All the operator said was wow yeah that's cheaper.

Also the 50% off at restaurants was just a link to restaurant.com. Since it wasn't working out for me, I called to cancel my membeship as I was told and promised after a year. I got a vocie mailbox, left my name and number but never received a call back. I sent a email and never recived a response. After a week I called back and the phone just rang and rang and no one ever answered. Apparently they turned off the voice mailbox.

You should be ashamed of yourself!

AUTHOR: LT - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, September 08, 2012

Hello, I am Lois **** of Thomson Georgia. My husband and I are both over 65 and I must say Randy, you are stooping to a new low. I have never fraudulently collected money from anyone including Wholesale escapes. For you to imply that I have, tells others what kind of company Wholesale Escapes is. If you think you can bully me by questioning with my integrity and my honesty you are mistaken.

I may not be aware of the new ways of checking out businesses but I do know there are good ones out there. I think you are only out for the mighty buck and that is fine but don't hurt people in the process.

The hotels I was refunded from your company have been paid for with our credit card for which I have receipts. You also have all my hotel receipts that was booked along with my credit card receipt payments for each hotel I applied for refunds. In fact, I sent you & others in the office a duplicate fax of all the hotels and receipts to prove to Sam that Chip signed the checks. I also sent you the hotel and C/C receipt for the last hotel you refused (which you said I didn't send you). The hotel was in Texas for $65 including tax instead of yours for $129.

My fax machine makes a copy of all the faxes I send out and to what numbers. You should check your facts before attacking someone's creditability. You have questioned my honesty and integrity. I have to wonder if Chip McIntyre knows what you are doing with his company when he isn't there... or is this new change from him?

How can a business set rules and then change everything mid stream. You took my Priceline hotels three different times. AT no time were companies such as priceline, expedia, travelocity, hotels.com, etc mentioned in your contract. Neither was AAA or AARP but I just found out they also can't be used.

I never said I didn't talk with any of you. If you look at the first sentence above you see that I said I talked with many people in the office including you. And yes, it did take me many times before anyone picked up. Several times I had to redial before I could talk to someone in the office.... other times I left a phone message... by the way they don't call you back. If you have had a call back you are special.

You & your company Wholesale Escapes, have broken your contract with us by not continuing to refund and have libeled me with a serious allegation. I have all receipts necessary to prove everything I have said. I will contact the City of Charleston and the Attorney General of South Carolina with a copy of your libelous words.

An immediate refund will close this unfortunate situation. If anyone wants to know how this company works you can email me (((redacted)))

Claims Untrue

AUTHOR: Randy - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, September 08, 2012

The author of this post is Lois Taylor.   Ms. Taylor is a member of Wholesale Escapes.  My company represents both Wholesale Escapes and RSI regarding enforcement of member rights.  In order to take advantage of the Price Match Guarantee clause in the contract, you have to actually book travel.  Ms Taylor has fraudulently and repeatedly attempted to collect money from Wholesale Escapes by providing false information.  Both Wholesale Escapes and RSI are committed to provide services in accordance with the terms of their agreement including but not limited to the Guaranteed Lowest Pricing for Cruises, Resort Condominiums and Hotels at time of booking.

Ms. Taylors claims that no one has responded to her are false as well.  She has spoken with multiple representatives of the company including numerous communications with me personally.  She is well informed of the protocol required to book travel and enforce her rights regarding the Price Match Guarantee.

For any information regarding this service, please contact randy@wholesaleescapes.org.

Do not listen to Wholesale escapes

AUTHOR: LT - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, September 08, 2012

I have talked with Randy Baker, Sam Averette, Doug, Preston (he is now gone), James Princheon, Angie Barnes (she is now gone), and the owner Chip McIntyre. Most of them understood how I got hotels before we booked with them. Chip thought I had a great way of saving money and could save more with Wholesale escapes, of course he won't call me back or even acknowledge my faxes or emails. They will tell you anything and reduce the price, do not trust them! They did give us refunds per the contract acknowlegement of, if you find it cheaper you can get a refund. I did this three times with Priceline.com with name your own price. It now seems I was doing too good and they will no longer accept my hotels. Saying that they do not take third party or auction sites. Not that I considered name your own price as auction but it never did say no third party or auction sites it only said they were the cheapest. And it seems strange they did it three times. Their answer Preston was paying back the company after giving us money, oh and the first check I got was another person doing it wrong. Was that because they didn't want to take a chance on my credit card company refunding us? Does make you wonder doesn't it?

Do you know that if you find a price cheaper throught AAA, AARP, they will not take it? They don't say that on their contract... they wait until you are trapped. I do say trapped as they charged our credit card before giving us the paperwork to sign and saw we could not back out. They found us a hotel in Ocala for $50 (Days Inn) I can get that for $35 if I want. We stayed at the Hilton for $55. Would you consider that fair? Not me! By the way they use hotels.com. You can do the same without giving them $2800-$7000. They also use RCI for condo weeks.

I called the city of Charleston and asked them why they are letting this company dirty their city name? They replied when they talk with them to fix their ways they only change their name. I told them it is time to cancel their contract with the city and get them out of the welcome centers that cater to tourists with no way to check on these scammers before we book with someone.

We are in our late 60's and don't know all the stuff these young people know. Our son was upset with us saying we should have checked them out. How do you check a company out when on vacation. His answer cell phone/computer. Who has that and how do you do it. Again well over 60. Any lawyer that wants to help any of us we would love the help. Or anyone that wants to talk about your experience get in touch with us. I am trying to find as many places to warn people.  LTpromo at aol dot com

I also agree with the restaurant deals. It sounded great. You buy a discounted gift card. We have 3 places we can buy. The only good one that isn't in the bad part of the city you have to buy twice as much as the card. If you buy a $50 card you must buy for $100. The $100 card is you are right $200 worth of food. I'm not sure how many people can eat that much in one meal.... but we can't.

You CAN NOT cancel or you lose all your money and you have to give them $199 each year thereafter to keep your contract up. Usually you have 3-10 days to cancel a contract not in South Carolina. BEWARE!

If you want to talk with someone be willing to redial for half an hour or you will get a message. When they get tired of you calling they will talk with you. The office girl offered me a refund until she realized she did the wrong thing and would hand me over to Randy.

Good luck to anyone that doesn't believe or trust what we are saying. You will learn way too fast and lose way too much money.

Price Gurantee

AUTHOR: Randy - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, July 26, 2012

Dear Sir or Madam,

My company is engaged by Wholesale Escapes to assist with consumer issues.  You membership guarantees you with a Price Match Plus Guarantee and I can help you with enforcement of that guarantee.  From time to time there may be better rates available on certain properties and Choice Hotels is notorious for publishing multiple rate structures.  However, your guarantee applies.  With more than 80 operators it is quite possible for an unsatisfactory encounter but we are committed to track down and resolve those issues as well.  If you dialed a number with no answer, you are dialing the wrong number.  Please contact me at your earliest convenience and I will be happy to assit you.
