Wholesale Furniture Fradulent representations Phoenix Arizona

Purchased what was represented to be a leather sofa, love seat and ottoman from Wholesale Furniture in August 2000. Salesperson, Neil, told us there was a 5 year warranty on the leather and a 5 year warranty on the frame. Furniture is now coming apart at the seams, ripping,etc. We now find out it is not an all-leather sofa.

Contacted Wholesale Furniture, they said the would contact the manufacturer, Hacienda Furniture, in Riverside, CA.

Wholesale Furniture called back and said there is nothing they can do.

I called Hacienda directly. They told me there is only a 1 year warranty on the leather, not a 5 year warranty.

Would have never purchased furniture if we knew there was only a 1 year warranty on the leather and that it was part vinyl.

Called Wholesale Furniture back. Told them their salesperson misrepresented what we were buying. They then said they would pay to ship furniture back to manufacturer if we pay for cost of repair. This is not acceptable to us. We then asked to have owner of Wholesale Furniture call us.

Afer several weeks, no call. We called back. Owner, Don Moore, was there. Was very rude. After hinting that I was going to file a small claim, he changed his tune and offered to have someone from Wholesale come to our house and take a look at the furniture. That was over a month ago. No call.
