Whole sale prices? MY foot!!!! I paid 200.00 for a membership fee to get in to this thinking i was going to get wholesale prices on the goods i would sell.
1) you cant see what the Wholesale prices are until you have access to the site which you can only get after you pay your fee.
2) The stuff for the most part the produsts are outdated, refurbished, and worst of all, ( The prices they gave me that they call wolesale average 20% higher than the products ever retailed for brand new). Now i did do some research.
Most of these products on the market now which are the newest and latest up to date products are retailing for still far less than what you pay for their outdated products No, i didnt ask for a refund.
Figured i am just out of the money. If you comunicate with this company, see if they will give you full access to their products to review priceing. Doubt that will happen. all i can say is, "Folks, dont go there!!!!" I bit and got bit.
You know, it seems like there would be some kind of fair trade and commerce laws on the books preventing this kind of thing. And its happening all around us. What does the FBI and other investigative services do with their time?
Or, have these kind of scams become federally legal? Have they found loopholes in the system? Or, is it just a scenario where when a class action suit finally makes its way in, they can buy their way out for a few million, profit 10 or 20 million, and the ripped-off consumer gets pennies on the dollar and still loses his butt even if he was just a consumer level party to the suit?
HA, Ha,. Ya. Bet you have all seen or experienced that scenario before. Bad thing is, I am smart enough to have come up with these kind of scams myself as simple as they are but not smart enough to keep from climing in and getting bit thinking there just might be a legit opertunity to make a residual income however large or small.
Sound like you? Yep. What is the consumer protection agency doing about this stuff? (Fair comerce act.) Is their such a law? No? Used to be? Lets revise the old one or get a new one on the books. Look forward to everyones input on this and i give all my respect and best reguards to the good folks who created and maintain this site.
Thanks for all you do. "Note" I donate to this site occasionally from the home page and i hope all you readers will too when you can. It doesn't have to be alot. Every little bit helps and i just think that is money well spent as this site is like they say. "By consumers,for consumers".

Complain Everywhere about Doba's SCAM

I was a victim of Doba SCAMs too. The best way to bring Doba down is to complain to Google, Ebay and Doba's website hosting service. Also keep writing complaints on all websites that have reviews, ratings and blogs. Make others aware that Doba is a SCAM website.
If these companies get enough complaints about Doba they will investigate and ban the website.
Google can't stand drop shippers and will ban Doba from Google search if enough customers complain and make Google aware of it.
Also complain to Doba's website hosting service which is presently with GoDaddy.com . Doba's hosting service is at risk of also being sued for allowing Doba to be hosted and ripping off everyone.
The FBI has a complaint form for SCAMS.
BBB (Better Business Bureau) is making money off these scam companies that trick so I am starting to think you can't trust BBB score anymore because the companies pay them off. Not to say don't complain to BBB because all complaints are consider valid when the number out ranks the positive.

You must have made out really well and took early retirement as i havent heard back in awhile. But anyway, i hope this finds you all well prospurous and hope you all had a merry christmas. Bill
PS. Wonder If DOBA is still around and if so, is there prices any closer to wholesale?

Yes, I already filed my own report on Doba. After reading the back and forth stuff here, I have this to say.
Doba is a most definate rip-off and lies about their company and what it has to offer or not offer.
They are VERY deceptive in their practices and they do a diservice to eBay sellers for at any given time a supplier may drop their product and you are not notified of this unless you check on that product in your watch list every single day, several times a day.
Bill, if I were you, I'd still try to get a refund.
Now what happens when a product is dropped and you're doing an online auction with that said product?
Well not only will you get bad feedback but you'll lose a potentionally very good customer that would probably buy from you again except they feel that YOU just ripped them off, when it really wasn't your fault.
I'm not trying to get rich in a hurry. I just want an honest company to deal with who provides quality products at REAL wholesell rates. Also that they have the product in stock.
I'm sure in all fairness that Doba is not the only foul scam company out there. I'd bet 99.9% are as well.
It's been a very hard lesson and expensive one for me. I had a couple of hundred to invest in something so that I could help supplement my husbands and my income, he's disabled, and now that is gone!
However do to my constant optimism, I have some neat items around my house to put in my eBay store and that's what I'm going to do to help get back at least what I lost.
I only wanted to improve our lives a bit and this is what happened. Also suggestion: There are a few, very few wholesalers out there, mostly from China, that you can really get TRUE wholesale products. Buy them, then sell them marked up a bit to make a little money on places like eBay.
Rule of thumb: Have the product in your hands so you can actually see and feel that it's real. In other words, forget dropshipping.

Are you also aware that Dobas so called dropshippers you can deal with them directly and that Doba hides their names by using Greek terms.
Doba states that they do not, but they are tacking on 8-15 percent more per item. Doba claims they are getting you a better price, this is an out right LIE.
Doba is making money on a memberhip to connect you with dropshippers, they are using these dropshippers to place YOUR order with and making even more money.
Its not a problem to making money, the PROBLEM IS THEY ARE TAKING MONEY AWYAY FROM YOU. And LIEING about it!

I have to agree with Bill from Indiana. I am also a member with DOBA and have endured the same. Difference is I was charged $500 for the membership. My mother signed up for $300 and her friend signed for $700. There is definately something fishy there.
On the other hand, I have two degrees in business, Masters and PHD. I decided to do this to make an extra residual income and I was going to hand things over to my parents once things were established. Though I still am a member with DOBA, I have opened my very own peronnel services consulting company just recently. In fact, I have just reached record sales in less than 60 days from opening the door.
Nonetheless, I'd like to hear more about this. Should anyone consider a class action I am in.

Ps. Yes russ, i did have money in my eyes. The kind of money i make with the other wholesale items i sell. Are you getting that? I make ok money selling other items that you can bet arent purchased through wholesale marketer. ok. so you say you make a doller or two off of irregular items aside from electronics. i make ok money off electronics i get from the other places because i get true wholesale prices. the irregular items i looked at werent priced much better and i looked at alot of them. Answer me this. what could you make if you could buy a whole semi load of goods for resale from 500 to 1000 dollars? forget the drop ship. plenty of revenue to compensate my time for shipping.

Come on, get real. Your are one of those people going right for the electronics and computers are'nt you? Let me guess, your sitting at home on your ass thinking of ways of getting rich without you actually having to do any work or research. I have been a customer with WM for a year now and even I know to stay away from their electronics and computers due to pricing. The funny thing is that WM (Wholesale Marketer) does not even set their prices, it's their suppliers. But you would know this if you actually took the time and spoke to a "Real Live Person" at their company.
Now I dont represent wholesale marketer in any way, they would be far more kind and civilized than I am. I am just sick of seeing people complain and yell "Rip-off" and "Scam" when neither exist. Now compared to the date of your posting, WM offers a free trial to one of their warehouses so you can see the pricing. So I can only assume you got the dollar signs in your eyes and assumed you would buy a laptop for $ 25.00 and resell if for $ 1,000. If thats your kind of thinking? I am starting to think so.
PS: Heres another piece of information you may find usefull. Prices will be going up again soon EVERYWHERE. Deal with it.
Also please goto your local community college and take a course in economics, business management, marketing and other relative classes, then please come back after doing that with your new perspectives on wholesale pricing and the retail world. Then maybe you would understand what is actually going on in the pricing tiers.
