Having stumbled onto this website I can now add my name to the litany of folks ripped off by this fraudulent website. Like others, even though its only 22 dollars, I am frustrated and angry these folks can operate on the web with impunity. I welcome any ideas to track these individuals down and shut their operation down...
Got the name Chris Centlivre, and a phone number 267-295-8629 that goes directly into a voicemail. Bad sign. Oh well, lesson learned - this is the last time I shop on the web from an unknown company.

I too have been ripped off.

I guess I am not the only one who has been ripped off by the Wild Flowers Trading Company. I ordered a baseball cap, Grateful Dad. I ordered it in July sometime and have yet to receive the hat. I paid them with a tellers check and my bank tells me it was cashed on August 15, 2003. It was not a lot of money, and I am sure someone will give me the hat for Christmas butit is the principle. By and large people shopping at a site such as Wildflowers Trading Company would be nice easygoing deadheads. I am not, at least not Monday through Friday. I will see justice is done. Since they were allegedly operating out of Vestal, NY my first stop will be the NYS Attorneys General Office, where my wife use to work. They are screwing with the wrong Deadhead.

I received a Paypal refund almost a year later!

Hi everyone:
I can't tell you how great it has been to see eveyrone coming together to try and stop this woman from ripping folks off. Good work everyone ... Kudos!
I received a paypal cancelled transaction refund at the beginning of February. I only found it because I went to make payment on something else using paypal, so they didn't contact me to let me know but still I was very happy to see that they were FINALLY dealing with Patricia.
Also, she is no longer a registered user with eBay, at least not under the name grateful_dead_shop. I guess eBay finally woke up. I did mention to them that I was thinking of filing a class action lawsuit given their willingness to protect HER privacy, and threatening me because I was telling folks what she was doing when there were SO many people telling everyone that she is a theif.
I contact the Vestal NY police through email on three occasions but never heard back from anyone which disappointed me but I am glad to know that they finally took an interest. A year down the road now, I have my money back but still want to see that she is made incapable of doing this anymore and at this point I don't think that has completely happened yet.
Please keep me update either through this site or through email ... southgal@hotmail.com. As I told Patricia in an email ... it truly looks like her karma has run smack dab over her dogma. So to all of you ... here's to burying it!

Refund Check Received in the Mail!!
AUTHOR: Mark - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, February 04, 2003
To my utter surprise, yesterday I received, in a tattered, stepped on envelope, a check from WTC refunding my $26. As my wife said, she'll believe it when the check actually clears, but
I view this as a victory and a result of the pressure we've put on them. In the ned, stil wish I'd just received my merchandise, but this will do.
Hope others also have good luck. My guess is that they are cash poor and limping along to stay in business. My somewhat small amount is a relatively easy fix, but the larger dollar amounts are probably already spent...
Let me know if anyone else has any success.

Thanks Jay for your input, good job. Mark, those email addresses you have tried from the newsgroups are all phoney. I tried three different email address of theirs, no good. In one newsgroup posting Chris Centlivre says they use them so people can't flood them with emails.
It forces people to use the Wildflowers email address, and of course, WTC doesn't answer the emails. Good news, Grateful Graphics told me this morning that they have decided to not sell to WTC. They have recieved several complaints. We have G.D.M. and G.G. on our side now, Liquid Blue is the main hold-out.
Maybe they need somemore complaint emails. I will email alot of the Ebay customers that didn't get their orders, there is alot of negative feedback for WTC. You can see that, go to Ebay feedback forum, enter feedback for grateful_dead_shop in the search box.
Thanks everybody. Good job.

Vestal PD Was Willing to Help with Wildflowers Trading
AUTHOR: Jay - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, January 30, 2003
I, too, had had a check cashed from Wildflowers Trading, but I didn't receive any merchandise. After about six weeks I filed reports with the Better Business Bureau and the Vestal, NY, Police Department. Coincidentally, the merchandise finally came (though not because of my complaints).
While I was in the process of cancelling my reports to the Vestal PD, BBB and FTC, I got a call from a detective in the Vestal, NY, Police Department. They were very interested. They already had done the legwork to track down the owners of the Post Office Box and had found the address of the business.
I suspect that if all of you who got ripped off contacted the police department as I did, you would find some willing crime fighters on your side.
I wrote to the PD in care of the chief at the following address:
Chief Kenneth Rounds
Vestal Police Department
605 Vestal Parkway West
Vestal, NY 13850
In my letter I included a narrative of what happened, the web address of Wildflowers Trading, the web addresses of some complaints that had been filed with the BBB and some personal contact information.
The Vestal PD contacted me amazingly quickly and were really gung h*o to go after them. I'd suggest this as a way to get your money back or to get your merchandise. The only thing you've got to lose is a stamp. It is, after all, a crime to take people's money -- even if it is only 20 bucks or so.
Good luck!

Suppliers

Contact John Andrews at Liquid Blue, He is the sales manager and they supply alot of t-shirts to WTC/Aiko Sports. I've been putting alot of pressure on him, since he told me that LB would continue to sell to WTC. He seems to think that if he seels them shirts, then we'll aventually get our orders.
I actually think Wildflowers is living on our money and shipping a few orders when they have extra money. I tried to explain that to him but I quit getting replys from him too. Help me out and make a complaint to him. Grateful Dead Merchandise is on our side so don't contact them any more, they cut-off WTC. Go after Grateful Graphics, I did. Fitz and Floyd, supply Wildflowers Collectable with plates. I emailed them with a general complaint, even though I didn't buy any of their goods. People on this site have.

at tracking these "deadbeats" down. I'm going to try and call Grateful Graphics again - in my opinion, they were a little easy on Wildflowers - the guy I talked to said they were a mom and pop shop and may have just been away during the holidays.
I think this will now become a quest to shut these guys down so they don't ripoff anyone else. I'm less and less convinced we'll ever get any merchandise. Still irks me to no end they can get away with this...

Newsgroup email is not accurate
AUTHOR: Carl - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, January 28, 2003
They have used a number of ISPs in posting on the newsgroups. Currently posting under the username "600 lbs of sin", the Centlivres can be found lurking in alt.guitar and rec.music.phish. Just searching on Centlivre in newsgroups can bring up some of their posts as can searching on Wildflowerstrading.com
Keep the pressure up. I've emailed suppliers. Does anyone have a full list of suppliers? And any word from Paypal? Last fall they informed me of an investigation into wildflowers which I've seen may have resulted in their account being shut down.

Wrong email address

Could you check that email address again please. I tried the one you provided and it is incorrect.
Let's try again. I recieved another email from GDM and they have taken a stand with us and cut-off WTC from buying wholesale. GDM customer service hopes that other suppliers will follow.

Thanks for digging-up the email address. I have written to all of WTC's suppliers as a way to get to them. Still a good option, writing the suppliers, but hopefully they will be taken off-guard that we have this address and feel we are closing in on them. Speaking of that. My email campaign has gotten Robyn at Grateful Dead Merchandise to put a hold on WTC's wholesale account, so they can't buy anything until WTC gets their act together. Turns out WTC doesn't communicate well with their suppliers either, so the suppliers are on their case like we are.

Took Craig from Chevy Chase's advice and did a google, pushed groups, came up with following email address for Patricia Centlivre -- pcentlivry1@stny.rr.com She and her husband
have many entries discussing the Grateful Dead.
Sent her an email saying that her many victims are not letting this drop and we want either our merchandise or our money back.
I'll let you know if I get a response...

I too contacted Grateful Graphics about Wildflowers Trading Co. The more who can get through to the owners the better. As I stated in my posting and updates, I have also contacted Liquid Blue T-shirts and Grateful Dead Merchandise, and they are working on the problem.

Spoke to Supplier - Grateful Graphics
AUTHOR: - ()
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, January 14, 2003
Called and spoke with someone at Grateful Graphics, who is listed as a supplier for Wildflowers Trading. He was cordial,
but somewhat suprised by my allegations of fraud. Said they were a small operation and may simply be "on vacation." I explained that my check had been cashed right away but no merchandise ever sent, and suggested his company rething their business relations. Still, this call suggests that they're not completely phoney - they have ordered from Grateful Graphics in the past. Hopefully, we'll get our orders in the end...
