I was a member of management and was a six year employee that achieved exceeding goals on all my performance reviews. That suddenly changed when I refused to give away peaks to employees that Tammy wanted to voice anti-union statements to the workers
Suddenly I was a poor performer, despite having the best under budget department - a department that exceeded all the high goals set before us on performance, and a very low turn over rate. Tammy was willing to do whatever it took to keep a union out. Under her direction, HR representatives followed employees outside of the work place, a clear violation of National Labor Relations Board rules.
When I reported it to the corporate HR team in San Francisco, CA, it was ignored, and Tammy was rewarded for her tactics. I was then suddenly fired for non performance of required job duties. Under PA laws however, employers can fire anyone for any reason without any penalties. PA has some of the weakest employee rights laws in the country.
This has happened to others as well, and we need to unite to send a message to this company that it will not be allowed to continue its anti-union practices....reminds me of Wal-Mart.
