If you knew that a registered sex offender had a master key and access to any residential area at an assisted living facility where your loved one lived, would that alarm you? If you knew that a registered sex offender had free run of the grounds of Willow Creek at San Martin and your grandmother, grandfather, mom, dad or other loved one was living there, what would you do? And what if that person had access to guns?
Think about that, because that scenario is true at Willow Creek at San Martin. A man named Richie, a registered sex offender in Nevada, works for Don Herman Construction. Donald Herman (yes, one in the same) has given his own construction company a contract to maintain the facilities at Willow Creek at San Martin. Donald Herman is Willow Creek's principle owner and Managing Member. Richie is employed by Don Herman Construction and has access to any of the Willow Creek facilities to perform maintenance.
Alarmed? Worried? Freaked out? Probably. And rightfully so.
It's against the law in Nevada for registered sex offenders to work at assisted living facilities like Willow Creek at San Martin. There's a reason for that, and I doubt I have to spell it out for you.
What's even more troubling is that it is known that this registered sex offender has access to and has handled the high-powered weapons that Donald Herman carries around almost everywhere with him. This sex offender has been seen handling these weapons at Donald Herman's residences in Southern Highlands.
A registered sex offender with access to guns and access to pretty much anywhere he chooses to go at Willow Creek at San Martin ... does that sound like a good combination to you? It sounds like a recipe for disaster to me!

Someone please tell me that the appropriate authorities are looking into this ... anyone from any of the state agencies that oversee this type of business and/or activities checking on these allegations?
I've seen the employee responses that they take this sort of thing very seriously ... well, duh!?! I hope, Willow Creek, that in addition to looking into privacy rights violations that you're looking into the actual allegations that were first raised here. As a previous commenter notes, let's get to the truth, the heart of these allegations first, and worry about whether or not this stuff is coming from a disgruntled former employee later!

Seems the original author has a point. If these claims are false, why isn't Willow Creek vehemently denying them? Where there's smoke, there's fire.

I'm noticing that your comment is full of bluster and posturing, but you did not deny the facts put forth in the original posting. And there's no defamation or maliciousness if the facts are correct, which they are. You can investigate all you want to try to uncover, what? The truth? Does it really matter if you find out who is posting this information, if it is truthful? What you should be doing is letting the public know that this person no longer has access through Don Herman Construction to Willow Creek Assisted Living and the vulnerable people whose care they have been entrusted with. Don't waste time writing threatening posts; do what you know needs to be done, if it hasn't been done already.

Ok, yes, count me as being definitely freaked out.
How can this be happening in a facility that exists to protect our seniors, disabled elderly, and those just not able to cope with everyday living? To put a potential threat in the midst of these kinds of people is outright insanity. Talk about the fox guarding the hen house! A registered sex offender having access as a maintenance worker at Willow Creek at San Martin, an assisted living facility, is downright chilling. When you think of the possibilities, it sounds like a setup for a Hollywood Halloween horror movie script. This is proof that reality is stranger than fiction, because you can't make up this kind of stuff.
