Due to Medical reasons I was and have been for over five years not been able to pay my student loans and talked with the agencies responsible for my loans. I have only recently worked to pay my child support and medical bills off to get out of debt. Now Windham Professionals and Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation notified me prior to wage withholding that they will order my employer to immediately withhold money from my pay "wage garnishment" for defaulted student loan, unless I call them about a repayment plan. Ok the problem is when I call to get the options from them they negotiate ridiculously outrageous payment plans that they know "after we calculated over the phone" I could not pay. They know that and try to add charges, interest, collection cost, and finally other charges to my account. They then use the above to negotiate every penny they can squeeze out of me and my family. It is so ridiculous the tactics they use that it isn't right and would like anyone dealing with these types of Companies to be very cautious when speaking with them because they are very manipulative: asking for checking account numbers and bank information, credit card numbers, debit card numbers and I'm surprised they didn't ask me for my "parents checking account number" ohh wait they did no kidding. It is a very bad idea to do business with these people because they have no morals or ethics.
