DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! HOPEFULLY IF YOU PAID YOU PAID BY CHECK LIKE I DID!!!! So a man who appeard nice showed up at my door and mentioned some of my neighbors names so i believed he actually sells to them. He told me that some people weren't able to pay their orders off today so they were offering me meat at cost. Filet mignon patties etc. He offered it to me for 150.00 came to 161.50 with tax. I quickly looked up and they were BBB accredited with an A-. O.K great yes I will write you a check!!! Well while going to put the meat in the freezer one package had a small tear.....odd for good wrapped frozen meats. Brushed it off and put it in a baggy. Then I decided to look more. The box the guy showed me was labled as CHOICE the other ones WERE NOT CHOICE MEAT!!! Then I looked up the logo and label CULINARY GOLD and it was from progressive foods. NOT BB Accredited and neither was CULINARY GOLD!!! That's 3 different company meat lables I have found and this company is accredited but is NEW so that's why they have the A-review right now. I immediately cancelled the check then I called the customer service number to tell the owner come get his meat and give me the check so I don't have to renew every six months or change our checking account the cancellation on the check. While listening to the voicemail he said if you were calling about he job be there 9:30 am sharp with some lunch money and he can get you out on the truck and out selling meats working. HE KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT WHO HE HIRES OFF THE STREETS!!! I Have 5 little kids and my husband was not home he could have sent a pedophile, thief or rapist into my home!!! I have never been so disgusted or pissed off in my life. That is completely unacceptable!!! I want this meat out of my home immediately and check in hand. I don't know what quality meat this is completely disgusting! I also want my 25$ cancelled check fee or he's not getting this meat back!!! I'm sure if he gives me the 25$ he will just resell it anyways. Should I write do not buy on each package of meat??? I think so. Sending untrained people to my home talking about coming in my home for osha standards etc. give me a break!!!!
