We ordered two Blackberry curves and new service from Verizon via Wirefly.com (Inphonic Corp.) service to be immediately activated upon receipt of phones. We received the phones on Monday (july 21). The first phone activated immediately and the second would not activate. We called Verizon (very helpful and very easy to talk to) and they told us that they had no record of the second number and that we needed to call wirefly. When we called wirefly a rep (who we could barely understand told us that the phone would be put on the top of the activation list and would we please allow them 24 hours to escalate the matter. We did. Still nothing. We called and called and got the same junk.

Finally, on Thursday morning, we had the following little chat with them (I put xxxxxs in the place of the rep's name.) Note that we still have nothing after this little chat.
XXXXX : Hi , David ! Thank you for contacting our chat support group. How may I help you?
David : Did you read my message?

XXXXX : Sure, I'd be glad to help you with that.
David dePingre: I request immediate attention, activation and a full refund of my shipping charges.

XXXXX : Before we begin, do I have permission to view your account information?
David dePingre: yes

XXXXX : Great, thank you. It will just be a moment while I retrieve your information.
XXXXX : Thank you for staying online.
XXXXX : Could you please verify the last four digits of your Social Security Number?
David dePingre: XXXX

XXXXX : Thank you for verifying.
XXXXX : As of now I could see in the order that the order has been shipped with next day business which was Monday.
XXXXX : Since the fedex does not drop the packages on week days.

David : I have received the phones! I have activated one but the other is not being activated
XXXXX : Regarding the phones activation we have already escalated the matter to activation department please allow 24 hours.
XXXXX : Hence we will not be able to refund the shipping charges.

David dePingre: IT HAS BEEN 72+ HOURS!!!! SINCE MY ORDER WAS PLACED IN THE ESCALATED STATUS
XXXXX : We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced, and we will do our best to rectify the situation as soon as possible and escalate the matter again.

David : NOT ACCEPTABLE!!! I AM HEARING THE SAME STORY DAY AFTER DAY. I DEMAND IMMEDIATE ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER. I WILL NOT TOLERATE BEING PUSHED ASIDE. I DEMAND IMMEDIATE RESULTS!
XXXXX : We do under stand that however do not worry it will be activated as soon as possible.

David d: NOT GOOD ENOUGH, I HAVE HEARD THAT SEVERAL TIMES EVERY DAY SINCE MONDAY. TODAY IS THURSDAY! HOW LONG ARE YOU PEOPLE GOING TO PUT ME OFF?

David d: I WANT EVERY SUPERVISOR JUMPING TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER IMMEDIATELY.
XXXXX : I'm so sorry to hear about the problems you've run into and we have escalated the matter again please allow 24 hours.

David : NO!! I WILL NOT ALLOW ANOTHER 24 HOURS TO PASS. I DEMAND IMMEDIATE ATTENTION, I WILL NOT BE PUT OFF ANOTHER MINUTE!
XXXXX : We do under stand that David, however we have already escalated the matter to expedite it.

David : NO, I DEMAND IMMEDIATE ATTENTION AND RESTITUTION, I WILL NOT BE PUT OFF ANOTHER SECOND.
XXXXX : Unfortunately we do not activate the phone it is done by our activation department so we need to escalate it and it takes 24 hours to process.
XXXXX: I am happy to help you, but you haven't responded in 2 minutes. Please reply to this message to keep your session active. If I don't reply immediately, please be patient, I may be assisting other customers.
