We received an email offer from Amazon on behalf of Woot. The deal was awesome--$298.00 for a new Neato Robotic vacuum cleaner. We received the order pretty promptly. The Neato, however, clonked out after less than 3 days. We have emailed Woot several times, because is the habit of many on-line companies, they don't list any phone number. If a company has no phone number, you can be sure it's because they don't want to hear from you. What other explanation could there be? I digress. Anyhow, their emails said they received our inquiries and would respond within 24 hours. It's been a week and no hide nor hare. We have already filed a dispute with our credit card company and left a message with Neato at their corporate offices in California. I'm also contacting Amazon.com customer service. They should vet their partners and folks they share our search information with. I'm assuming that's how Woot got our email address and knew we were looking for this item. Even if Woot refunds our money, I want to save other consumers from the hassle of dealing with this borderline unethical and dishonest company.
