After a few days, I call again, same story, but they give me a ship date. When the day came and went, I called and got a new ship date. After three or four times doing this, they shut down business for the hurricane last month.
Once their phones started working again, I called to find out the engine is still there, and no matter what I said, they're not shipping. When I talked to their shipping person, Carlina, to find out that the engine, once again, did not ship, I asked for accounting.
Understand, I did not share with her that I was wanting to cancel my order, all I did was ask for accounting. However, she said "If you want to cancel your order, you need to email your intent to a special email address" and gave the address to me.
At this time, it had been 44 days since my original order. They got back to me right away to tell me...
"I just got your email. Let me let our facilities know you wish to cancel so nothing more happens with it and it does not ship. I should be able to have this fully cancelled throghout our entire company by the end of the day. Please email me back then and I will confirm the cancellation is complete."
I pressed him at the end of the day to verify the cancellation. His response...
The order will be fully cancelled out in our system by the end of the day today so nothing ships. I have to wait until the end of the day to confirm the order was cancelled and it did not ship - since we had it scheduled to ship out I have to wait for it to be dropped off the shipping roster.
That's the last I've heard. Despite many many phone calls and several emails, I'm being ignored.
