I received a call from this company in January with an offer of an credit card with a one time fee of 299.00. I was told that I would have a 6.9% interest rate and a 2000.00 limit. The money was withdrawn from a account on March 4, 2004. I was told in January that I would receive the card within fifteen days of the payment. When I called Amerinet 1-800-221-0854 toward the end of March, they told me that they only process the payments for this company and that I should call them directly. They then gave the number 866-367-4919. The young lady that I spoke to told me that I was incorrectly informed and that I will receive my credit card in April. I then called the company again on April 14th and was then rudely told that I could not get my money back and that I would receive my card by the second week of May. I called again on May 10, 2004, and was told that the computers were down and that I should call back. I called back on May 11, 2004, and was again told that the computers were down. I called again on May 12, 2004 and after waiting on hold for quite sometime for Daniel Lewis to come back to the phone he told me that I would not receive my confirmation package until the middle of July.
I then told him that I wanted my money back and he rudely told me that it was non-refundable. I asked to speak with a supervisor and he told my that "it is not within your rights as a consumer or client to speak with a manager." I asked him if he ever heard of ripoffreport.com and he said "no".
When I asked him to again tell me what the name of his company was because I was under the impression that there were several noted names he then responded,"you gave your money to a company and you don't even know their name?" I did inform him that I wanted to be sure that he was using the same name today as they were using yesterday. The conversation ended on that note. I really want to get my moneyback and I fell completely helpless.
