My wife and I received and offer to attend a presentation to hear about a travel company presented by Worland travel Resoures, inc.

In return we would receive a 7 day cruise and two free airline tickets.

We decided to attend. We met in a motel that was under restoration but listen to a slide presentation. After that we met with a salesmen named Keith. At first to join the travel club the cost would have been over $6,000.00 but we were told that if we joined it would cost just $3,093.00 if we gave up the gifts of a free cruise and two free airline tickets which we did. I have fould out since then from other people that the cruise and airline tickets were worthless. We were told that we would receive membership numbers withing 10 days and if we needed to book a trip before then we could contact the travel agency they used within three days from the date of the agreement. We had two trips that we needed to book soon so we contacted Worldwide and the agency Island Trader Vacations and was told that without a member number they could not help us. We booked the two trips on our own. I called Worldwide Travel Resources several times to advise that we had not recived a memership number and was always told to give them more time. I desputed the Visa charge and advised Worldwide Travel Resources to cancel our membership. They did not cancell so I did a search of this Company and found many complants. I have also found out that Mr. Tab Ferguson has run this scam many times. The only different was a change of Company names but the same type offers to attend and the people that fell for this scam found out they could book travel at a lower price themselves. My last call to Mr. Ferguson telling him that we called many times to cancell and he needed to let my credit card company know. He was very rude so I am going to report this scam to the Attorney Generals office and Scam Book. I have also sent a five page letter to my credit card company with copies of the scan reports from other people. Yesterday I received a call to give me a membership number after almost 30 days of joining, I'm sure because of my compants and request. Please do not attend any offer of this nature.
