We are a volunteer rescue squad. We were contacted by Mr. Stricklin on several occasions asking us to let them do a fund raiser for us. They advised us they would come down and take up donations and put on a concert with impersonators. What actually happened is they came down, used the name of our non-profit organization, collected over $1500.00 and then called us back a few months later and told us they were not going to be able to do the concert.
I have sent several request for them to contact me and provide the information from the businesses that donated money so we could refund their money or contact them about their donation and I have not gotten a single call or reply. Mr. Stricklin was more than happy to call me constantly to get us to agree to the fundraiser, but has yet to return my e-mails or calls. We got less than $100.00 and they will not contact me about refunding the money so we can send it back to the local businesses.

Well, I thought they were going to do the right thing but since they called me and made all kinds of promises to get me to report this as resolved I have heard nothing else from them. All this company did was take advantage of a volunteer non-profit organization to make them some money.

We have since been contacted by Mr. Stricklin who has advised us that it was a misunderstanding and that they still wish to put on the concert for us. Thanks to ripoff report.com, I think it had some effect on the response.
I will definitely make sure to update this to let everyone know if everything goes off as it should
