I purchased a a Volkswagen CC 2009 on 08/16/13 at Wow Auto Deals LLC office. This is how they operate: they don't have any vehicles at their shop, they just have an office where they make customers buy online with them. So did buy the vehicle online without seeing it because they promised they will inspect the vehicle before they ship it. So Dicarlos, the sales man who helped me buy the car called me after i paid for the car that the car was in good condition and if i agree to be shipped. So i trusted the company and said yes. They took advantage of the situation that i needed the vehicle to be shipped for export(bought for a relative of mine) and didn't care what vehicle to ship. They shiped a locked up engine car  to Miami Port. The employees from Miami Port called me and stated that the vehicle was not starting for some reason. I had to pay for towing $550 to ship it to my place and found out at Volkswagen Auto Service that the engine was not working at all and had to replace with a new one which costs $8000 including labor. I called Wow Auto Deals many times and they ignored me, don't want to help me and not returning my phone calls. I paid them $ 13049.00 , i wouldn't pay so much money if i new they will ship me a damaged car. I request a full refund from them or at least the cost to replace the engine. If somebody can help me please let me know. If the company don't proceed with my refund i will need a lawyer to help me to file a lawsuit against Wow Auto Deals LLC. i Have all the proofs, the car has the same mileage since i bought it and employees from Miami Port can confirm the car was not drivable.

Thank you,

Smart sale or clever con?

AUTHOR: coast - ()

You purchased a vehicle sight unseen from a dealer that is purchasing it sight unseen. No chance that something could go wrong with that deal. Smart purchase.

“they promised they will inspect the vehicle before they ship it”

OK, they inspected it. Apparently it didn’t have to pass inspection.

Their web site reads, “WoW Auto Deals is founded on trust, integrity, and respect.”

If it’s on the Internet, it must be true.

Welcome to the club, it seems that you are not the first nor the last one who will have problems with this dealership. Decarlos is the brother of the owner Juan Cortavaria.

First of all I would suggest to return them the favor and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau webpage http://www.bbb.org/south-east-florida/business-reviews/used-car-dealers/wow-auto-deals-in-fort-lauderdale-fl-90039963 , they may be able to help. WOW already have a rating of F.

Also go to the Davie Police and ask them what other actions you can take. There are many complaints about them all over the internet, it was so bad that they had to pull off their yellowpages site because it had only complaints. And reported them to OFR Florida office of financial regulation. Their number is 954 958 5508 They will go to the Dealer and investigate all their deals not only yours and all the customers will get their money back.

Now, I read that some former customers sued them and got their money back, look for a lawyer that specialize in consumer matters, there are many that don't charge you a cent unless you win. I could recommend you (((REDACTED)))They dealt with them before and know how they work.

You can also file a complaint with FTC Bureau of consumer https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ or the  Florida Department of Highway http://www.flhsmv.gov/html/contact.html .

I urge you to report them, you and anyone else who feel to be a victim of WOW Auto Deals LLC. If you guys don't do anything, you are becoming an accomplice and let them get away with their actions. Think that it could be a friend or a family member that could be affected by them in the future if you don't take action now. Think that if anyone else that had problems in the past with them, would have complaint, they probably wouldn't be in bussiness now and you wouldn't be in so much trouble.

Best of Luck!!
