This site is a bad idea to use in my opinion.  I came across this site while looking for a gift for my Russian girlfriend's parents (which live in Moscow after years of living in the Ukraine and Belarus).  The amount of misinformation on this site is extraordinary.

For example, I read things in the FAQ section that listed that "A child has no future in Russia."  and "... long run a child will benefit growing up in a Christian culture."  I've been to Russia a number of times and they are a very spiritual people and not as ignorant as indicated.  My girlfriend and most of her family (which is in no way rich) and friends have their college completely paid for by the state.  Now, are they as wealthy, per capita?  No.  But this is not the same.

If you are researching this site, in my humble opinion, please avoid this site.

Ok, "Maybe" I can only say on this post, that i have been an active member of elena's model website, and nothing has happened so far, from all the girls that i have tried to correspond, sooner or later they stop, they don't keep going, even when supposedly they have my email (sent by me). And i am a pretty handsome guy (LOL)
So here it' my conception of the fraud, first of all, the persons responding positively to this post, might be herself or someone else on her behalf, C'mom Elena, give us something else from your site, other than the (EOI) Expression of Interest and mysterious photos profiles that you post on it....

Everything in the above post is not true. I have been a member of Elena's models for a few months and have met close to one hundred real Russian, Ukrainian and Uzbek women. They are all real - I have spoken to many of them on the phone and by instant messager with webcam. I am going to meet 1 girl in December who I speak with and see on msn messenger twice a day. Furthermore she has never asked me for any money - giving and asking for money between men and women is banned on Elena's site. She verifies all women either by having them go to her agency in person if they are in a major city or close by. If she cannot do this she verifies the women by phoning them and asking some detailed questions - this was the case with the girl I am meeting as she lives in Crimea and is not close to any major city where she could be verified in person. As I say - I see and speak to her twice a day by msn messenger - she is definitely real and genuine and a stunning looking 25 year old to boot! Whoever wrote that rip-off report may well be a scammer themselves - this would not surprise me as Russian mafia are extremely active in this area and would love to discredit Elena's models and the half dozen or so other reputable Russian dating agencies designed for western men. Do not belive all you read here - remember anyone can post a negative report to get at their rivals.

I married a girl from Ukraine who I met myself online. I never spent a dime with Elena yet she helped me with good advice and information and I was able to find out information about my finance (now my wife) that was very helpful in determining whether she was legit and not a scammer. This is an honest business and a charitable one also. I have exchanged emails directly with Elena a few times.
I was able to read and learn many things for free on her site as well as find names of legit investigation firms to hire for backround checks without any charge from Elena. I should send her a check for the use of her site. I just might do it anyway.
If you have evidence to the contrary, present it. In my opinion this is sour grapes and you are upset because her business is thriving while your results are pathetic. Its the honesty of Elena, her helpfulness, and lack of greed that makes her endeavors successful.
If you have a complaint, make it and prove your case. I think you need more fiber in your diet :)

I challenge you to PROVE your allegations. Post, right here on this web site, valid proof of what you alledge. I assure you that I can certainly prove your allegations to be FALSE. As a client of Elena Petrova, I can prove that the girls are real (I am engaged to one - we are going through the fiance visa process now and will be marrying in Spring of '08. I can also provide two other couples who met and married through elena'smodels.com - one woman is my fiance's friend, who is now married and lives in California, and the other couple is helping me with my fiance visa paperwork), and I can prove that she does indeed have offices oversees (I was in the office in Kiev this past July - '07).

This report does not list any facts, only ungrounded accusations.

I immediately recognized the wording of this report as there were dozens of copies of the same message posted all over the Internet in 2004, by an owner of a competing agency. (I do not include his name or the name of his agency here, but I can provide it on request.)

The reason for his postings was that there was a negative message about his agency on my website, posted by a user of his service. The person who posted the report detailed his account with his agency, which was negative.

Since the same message was posted on multiple message boards, I learned about them quickly and the owners of the dating-related message boards were the ones who contacted me with the name of the competitor responsible for the postings, this is how I know who he is.

I removed the comment about his agency from my website (although there was enough evidence to back it up and the poster was happy to stand by his post), and the online libel campaign against myself immediately stopped.

I would like to see the poster of this report to stand by his post and provide FACTS instead of ungrounded accusations.

I am also busy hiring an American attorney to proceed with a defamation case against this person and the publishers supporting him.
