Last May 2013, ordered off E-Bay a unit from Xtrons, it arrived promptly... i was impressed.. till i opened box... cheap CHEAP junk, very poor instructions, even worse english translations.

Imposible to understand there instructions gramer and translation to english was so lousy, I hasd unit proffesionally installed. Even then the Electronics firm warned me it was junk, crapy product and they've installed hundreds and most people are back with in few months wanting it repaired or removed!

 Well mine failed like the guys predicted within couple months, Contacted Extrons... had to send back, shiping cost $109.00 thyat or wait for cargo shipping [3 months]

It took them longtime to acknoledge they had unit back even after dozens of emails.. and don't waste your $$$ calling they are rude, dont speak very good english and keep hanging up on you!!!

After about 3-4 months they claimed to have repaired unit and sent back...

Hooked it up again and "EXACTLY" same problems... didn't fix it or couldn't have tested it prior to returning... told to send back again!!!

Another $100+ to return, i demandede new unit, but assuming problems with that unit insisted a different unit better unit, stating i would pay extra to up grade... DUMB DUMB DUMB on my part, wastye more good money after bad trying to right thier wrongness!!!

Spent another $169.00 +/- with exchange ates Thats now roughly 300 for first unit, then 2x shipping @ $100 each time, + $169.00

I would have better off buying a nice Kenwood or Clarion unit here, at least i would have good working unit, and someone whom speaks english to talk to if have problems and would cost me $100 shipping each time i returned it!!!

So as story goes, they sent unit, forgot to send extra parts i ordered with it, complained and yes they sent extrra parts... But no instructions on how to use it, No installation instructions!!

Complained yet again, after dozens of emails they NOW CLAIMS there is "NO" englisgh installation manual!!

 buyer beware... save your money, suport your local economy... do not buy from them!

I read the report with interest because I am considering a purchase from XTRONS myself.

What was wrong with this report, even though the info was useful, was the complaint about .... "very poor instructions, even worse english translations" that you complained about and THEN you continued on with appalling English grammar and even worse spelling throught YOUR OWN report.

Did not exactly make it readable!

Hardly making a credible argument if you are unable to write correctlly yourself - that aside, a lot of Chinese products have awfully written manuals (not just Xtrons) and they could ALL learn from the Japanese when they first started mass producing products for the Western consumer market.

Fortunately they have corrected there ways.
