It is very unlike me to post such a report as this. I am not writing this to slander the company but to express and share my personal experience with others. I believe in posting the good aspects and integrity of a company or individual but this company, YooCare, has neither.
Before I chose to use YooCare's service, I researched this company and all I could find were mostly good reviews, except for a few. I should have gone with my gut instincts to NOT use their service as they were so new. Supposedly, they are based in Colorado Springs, CO, but I am pretty sure they outsource the work as every person I spoke to had an asian accent and the connection was horrible. One girl I spoke to even told me that she was in Asia while others have lied and said they were in Colorado. If you don't believe me, call them. None of them have really answered any questions I asked about my computer but gave me the run around. And yes, I have copies of our chats.
I sought out YooCare because my brother connected his external hard drive to my fairly new laptop and somehow it became infected with the trojan.gen.2. Four people from YooCare worked on my computer! Two of them accused me of receiving the trojan through downloading illegally/visiting risky websites, which I found to be insulting as I have no such thing on my computer. Each of them promised me that they would be able to fix my problem as it was "EASY". The four people were ELLA, HEBE, JOHN, & MIA. They all wasted my time! Hebe was the second one to work on my computer. Apparently, she did something to my computer to compromise it but did NOT remove the trojan. Ever since then, my computer has been slow, Word and Excel behaviors are inconsistent, I'm receiving errors, my "NumLk" key on the number keypad turns itself off randomly, internet is slower & disconnects, etc. I have NEVER had these issues before and my computer was only 8 months old. I didn't even have these issues with the trojan on my computer. It all occurred once Hebe worked on my computer. I kept asking what happened but no one has given me an answer. I was just told that the trojan was gone for sure now.
The third time I called, John was helping me, and supposedly had finally removed the trojan but I was still having issues with my computer as mentioned above. I decided to contact them once again as my computer was getting worse, and the fourth person I got was Mia who was not able to do anything for me and said my computer was fine. She was no help at all but said towards the end of our conversation:
Mia: You are welcome to contact us if you wish. We are 24 hours online available for you.
So, tonight, I contacted them again and spoke to Mike who told me that there was nothing they could do for me as I only purchased the one time fix which was only guaranteed for 7 days. It is quite disturbing that this company would hire such incompetent individuals and claim to "cure your computer problems and maintain your computer in a perfect status." They definitely did not deliver what they claim to. In fact, they made it worse! That to me is FRAUDULENT! How can you run a business and claim to guarantee your work but not take responsibility for damages done? I WOULD NEVER HAVE USED THEIR SERVICES KNOWING WHAT I KNOW NOW! I am definitely filing a claim with my credit card company as YooCare made my computer worse than what it was before, and refused to fix it.
