Zenith z50px2d Plasma had a loud pop.. It now has a black screen. The tv is 3 1/2 years old.. I Paid $2243.54 with a 2 year extended warranty. ( Which is no good now) After searching the internet i see that the zenith z50x2d plasma is famous for this problem. This is happening to all of these tv's this same model... Shouldn't there be a recall... Thats exactly what i asked LG when i called them... They stated that the tv was older then a year and they could not warranty or issue a recall. This is Crazy i explained to them... The Guy (Sheldon) on the phone told me that this is a very common problem. After a while he told me that I could get the tv fixed but i would have to pay for the labor. The labor cost is over $450 ... I even asked LG to please send me the parts and i would install.. They refused... .... This is the last time that i ever buy anything from LG EVER.... Something should be done about this.
