On my AT&T bill there was a charge for $124 for a call made from a FAX machine in Vacaville CA (i called to check on it) to some town in Mineral wells Texas. I'm in Napa CA. The call was place at 2:35 AM! My wife & I were home sleeping. (we're in our 50s). I called ATT & they said to call Zero Plus. Zero plus stated firmly that we authoized the 3rd billing & would not budge, Asked for a Supervisor & got a ruder person. I told them I wasnt paying no matter what. That my wife or would remember if we recieved a call at 2:30AM authorizing such a charge which we would of delcined. Didn't matter. They would not credit it out or reduce it. Heck I might of paid 20 bucks to make it go away!
Called back to AT&T told them the story & they agreed to credit it out but said Zero Plus may come after me. COME & GET YOU SOME!!
I'm going to be filing & posting complaints everywhere on these rip off artists.
Hope you'll do the same.
PS- AT&T was great! Seems that can't block 3rd party billings in Calif. but can do so in other states.
