Ziinga Avoid This Auction Site Internet

On-Line Auction with hugely deceptive and costly membership fees.  I "won" a SamSung cellphone for $4 via on-line auction; and subseqently one-week later had $118 withdrawn from my bank account, and when I contacted Ziinga via their on-line chat help desk; was advised that the $118 was the first of 3 $118 monthly payments to be automatically deducted from my account.

When I objected to this; I was referred frequently to their Terms and Conditions language which didn't mention the monthly withdrawls but did contain the warning of a $68 cancellation fee.



When asked them to just cancel the whole deal, they stated they will "adhere" to their terms and conditions, and will charge the $68 to cancel the "Platinum" membership.  I advised that I will stop the payment of the $118, cancel the credit card and refuse to pay the $68 cancellation fee.  They said they would seek recovery of the cancellation fee via debt collection methods.



Surprised and disappointed in myself for giving them my credit card info. 



Avoid this at all costs.  The adage holds true......"If it's sounds to good to be true......"
