Verizon claims the law requires that they accept this type of 3rd party billing with no obligation to insure the credibility of the company or the services. After 10 phone calls and getting the run around from eBusinesssvc Isp Mofee (866-606-3249), Pay One Billing (888-934-7750) and Zip Web, I'm told I must deal only with Verizon. Verizon, of course tells me to deal with Zip Web.
I'd like to add that the phone coversations with the Verizon people, though frustrating, were pleasant. However, the companys involved in this "scam" were rude and nasty.
Internet fraud. Illegal billing fostered by governmental laws requiring my phone company to accept 3rd party billing for which they know nothing about. The law enabled my phone company to bill me for a scam company - EBS On Line..
