Around 2 weeks ago, I received a 60 minute massage from Jennifer McElroy, owner of A New You- Massage Therapy using Groupon. The massage itself was very painful but I believed she must know what she was doing. The next morning I woke up in extreme pain and couldn't turn my neck to the left for almost 2 weeks. I decided maybe I needed another massage from her to fix whatever problem was there. I purchased another massage with Groupon and when I showed up she not refused to give me a second massage. She used my new Groupon massage code and then said she doesn't give more than 1 Groupon massage every 6 months to one client. I asked why she would accept the money and use my Groupon if she didn't accept them. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I told her about the pain from my last massage and she couldn't care less.
It was probably a big blessing because most likely she messed up my back/neck from her last massage. I will never do business with this company and will tell as many people as I can to avoid her.

Client in this article did come to me with a Groupon. The first time he received his hour massage. Then we were finished he informed me he did not have his Groupon. Since he was a prior client I told him to bring it next time. When next time came he was angry I would not work on him because I used the Groupon to pay for the last session he never paid for, and I asked for payment for the new massage upfront and he refused. Also client had told me prior to the second session than he had injured himself playing baseball and he could not turn his neck for about 2 weeks. I would have no problem with this report if it was true. Everyone makes mistakes. But in this case this is someone trying to get something for free and is mad it did not work.
