This is called the Payday Collection scam

This scam has been around a long time. Don't contact these people, don't email them and don't call them. Go to FTC(dot)gov website and look up consumer scams. These Payday Collection scams are meant to intimidate you into sending the scammer money. You may or may not have a defaulted payday loan, but it doesn't matter anyway because if you actually did send money to these people it wouldn't apply to any outstanding loan at all. It just goes to the scammer.
File a report with the FTC.
