In April of 2006 I bought a new washer and dryer from Aarons sales and lease. I opted to pay the 90 day same as cash, paying my agreement of in July 2006.

A few months after this (and right after my agreement had been paid in full) the washing machine started leaking. I talked with then manager, Jim, and he told me since I had paid the washing machine off early I did not qualify for any type of warranty or loaner. After arguing the point he finally says he'll let me have whatever warranty was left on the machine after I bought it. (this was supposed to be a NEVER BEEN USED machine) He comes and gets the machine, but doesn't bring a loaner, leaving me without a machine for over a week, when it was told to me it'd be only a day.

So the machine comes back a week later and they said there is nothing wrong with it. they hook it up and leave. again, the washing machine is leaking! Jim sends over the All Brands repair man, who looks and says it's not leaking. How to explain the water all over the floor? He say's I'm using to much soap. So i cut back on the soap. Still leaking! At this point I'm using so little soap my clothes aren't even coming out clean. Yet the machine is still leaking onto the floor when it hit's the spin cycle.

Jim tells me there's nothing wrong with the machine and I need to take my "imagined" problem up with the makers of the machine.

So I talk to white-westinghouse, and they send forms for a replacement machine, however, the All Brands repair man had said there was nothing wrong with the machine, that I was using to much soap. So my request was denied. Case closed.

By this point, my new laminate floor is warped and ruined by the leaking water. I'm fed up and I email Aarons district manager, explaining my problem. A day or so later I get a call from someone named James from the Aarons store here in Missoula. He says he wishes I'd of called him with my problem. I tell him I had called the store SEVERAL times, of course, he knew nothing about it because JIM had been the manager then. He apologizes and immediately comes and gets the machine and brings a loaner. It is February 2007 by this time.

I have him look at the floor and see the damp warped laminate and smell the mildew coming from under where the machine was setting.

Months go by and I haven't heard anything, so I call the store and the saleslady says she's on the phone with the repair shop and she will call me right when she hangs up. Well, she didn't and about a month later, I get a call saying my machine was fixed. I was told that the hose was cracked at the bottom and it took them a while to find just where it was coming from. The delivery men aslo had told me the machine leaked so bad at their store that it ruined a couch. So, after 4 months of using the loaner, which, by the way, never leaked at all, I get my machine back. It's now June 9, 2007.

On my first use of this newly repaired machine, I was left with water again all over the floor. I call Aarons immediatly and the guys come back out, and said it was the hoses connected in the back that where leaking. So, they reconnect them and left again.

A day or so later, I do another load of laundry, and when it's done, I notice there's water, AGAIN, all over the floor, leaking out the front. I move the machine out to clean the water up, and the enitre machine sides are about falling apart under my hands. the front and sides are all loose.

I clean the water and call James at Aarons and tell him the machine is leaking again, and we need to figure something out. He tells me that there wasn't a problem with the machine, that they never could get it to leak at their store. When I tell him what his own delivery men had told me, he tells me that it was a front loader that was leaking and that the delivery men didn't know what they where talking about. He says he will have to speak with his manager and would get back to me the next day. He never did.

A week later, we call him back and he tells us he's not going to do anything else with the machine because it is NOT leaking. He could not explain why during the 4 months we had their loaner machine we didn't have any problem with leaking water. He insists there's nothing wrong with the machine and that we will have to take them to court. So that is what we are doing.

I bought a brand new washing machine from aarons in april 06, i fought for over a year to have the leak fixed. and for over 4 months the machine wasn't even in my possession. Now i'm left with a machine that not only leaks but is falling apart. My new floor that's less than a year old is ruined where the machine sat. This is what you get when you do business with Aarons Sales and Lease ownership.
