Adam Higgs Truth Speaker? More like Rude Speaker. Los Angeles, California

I have worked and been in the metaphysical world for over 30 years.  When it was recommended to me to go see Adam Higgs, I was excited and enthusiastic.  

I am very open and have loved and worked with many astrologers, psychics, mystics, facilitators, gurus, yogis, shaman, and healers.  In all the years of working with those in this field I have never felt the need to write a bad review.  

But with Adam Higgs, I had to make an exception.

I was told that he was abrupt and a "Truth Speaker".  

So I was prepared for confrontative.  I have been in very confrontative workshops as I am from the old EST generation of the 70's and know what it is like to get called on the carpet.  I find that a fine technique if the person is on target and accurate.  I have been the first to admit that the facilitator has been correct.  
If they are correct.

However, with Adam Higgs, I found he was rude, cruel, righteous, opinionated, rigid, dogmatic, pushy, negative, and very limited in his training and understanding of metaphysics.  Not to mention that his language skills and his abilities to express anything other than distain for his clients was very poor.

It is one thing to be psychic.  That takes 50% of the skill.  The other 50% is in being able to express that knowledge in a way that serves the client and opens them up to awareness, growth, and expansion.

Adam believes he is right about everything.  And I mean everything!  

First of all no psychic is completely accurate 100% of the time and the good ones will be the first to tell you that.  

Adams attacks started right at the beginning when I walked into his space.  He began criticizing me from my jewelry, down to my clothes.  

Now, some mentalists (Notice that I do not consider him a psychic at all.) begin by attacking to find what you react to.  That tells them a lot about where you get triggered and what are your issues.  

But this is for amateurs who think they are psychic. 

Then he proceeded to use classic beginner games to generalize me.  

I am not an easy person to do this with because there is nothing general about my life or experiences.  I will not elaborate right here because I do not want myself to give myself away but suffice it to say that my life is way beyond the average person's reality. 

So putting boxes around me like, "You are weak and too soft!" are as far from true as you could go.  

He continued to negate me, attempting to put me down, to break my spirit, and to to make me listen to his beliefs.  When I even gave him doorways to make corrections, he continued to yell, argue, and point out that he is always right and that I was going to argue with him the whole session.  

At which I told him that what he really wanted was for me to shut up.  At which time he said, "Yes, you should just shut up and listen!"

I honestly have never had anyone be so abrupt to me that I was paying $150 per hour to. 

He continued to miss the intuitive mark over and over.  

I just decided to stay quiet and let him run his mouth because his ego could not handle anything else but being right.  

He called me a "pig" in the Chinese astrology when I am a rat.  I tried to point that out and he said he had his own system and that I was so not a rat but a greedy, money grubbing pig!  So I shut up again.

If I was so money grubbing I would be wealthy, which I am not.  And I have walked away from men who were millionaires because they were so distorted.  So again, Adam missed the mark. 

He said that I did not know if I loved the man I was with (Again, a great generalization because most people are unhappy and unfulfilled in their relationships) and I have to say that finally at 51, I have found true love.  But when I pointed that out he again, told me that I did not know what I was talking about.

He told me that I had a heart problem, which I don't.  He told me that I would probably die early from the heart and my family lives until their 90's on both sides.  He told me I was weak and I have been a professional athlete.  Again, how opposite and off the mark can you be.

The blunders carried on and on.  

I would have to say that out of the psychics I have seen on a scale of one to ten I give this guy a zero.  

And that is really saying something. 

So what I have concluded is that the people who like this guy have been abused by a parent or male figure in their life.  If you have been abused, you will love this guy.  

If like me you have not been abused you will think this guy is an a*s and not worth your time.

He is not psychic, he is a mentalist.  That is a very different category.  He did not hit anything right with me and so I finally asked for a tapping session (A healing session with muscle energy balancing techniques) instead of a reading.  

He agreed because he said that he had told me everything I needed to know but I was not going to listen.

So we went to the body work session and this guy knew zip about muscle energy balancing.  

I have been a professional bodyworker since the mid 1980's and everything this guy did was what they tell you in classes not to do.  He was not strengthening meridians.  He was manipulating the body to make it look like he was right to prove his point.  It was clear that he had never taken real classes on the subject that he says is his speciality and creation.  Or if he did the teachers did not call him on his obvious mistakes.

I am writing this review to point out the tremendous negativity and bad body work that this guy is handing out to the public and getting a lot of money for. 

This guy has a following in Hong Kong and travels all over the world.  So be aware.

I would hate to be in his karmic shoes in another lifetime.  He is going to have to fix all the suffering he is causing to his clients with his pompous ego and inflamed self image.  

There was no room for any discussion.  He was right all the time and he kept pointing out to me that he has all these clients that think he is wrong but come back later and tell him that he was right. 

Well I can tell you that most of the clients that have healthy boundaries will never come back to tell him that he is an a*s.  Most people will just walk away and leave him to his own ego.  It is pointless to try to open this type of guy because there is no need for him to take feedback.  As he is always right.

My experience was that he could not read me at all.  Now this could just be me and he might have some capacity to read someone else.  But again, all I have is my experience.  With me he was 100% inaccurate about my past.  And most of the reading was nothing about my future.  He just decided to pound me down and break me with his will.  

Why would anyone pay for this?

I have (hopefully) less ego and so I just let him be right.  But I highly suggest that anyone who is sponsoring this guy should be aware that he is going to piss someone off enough at some point that they will sue him.  

In 30 years of being in the healing field I have never met anyone this arrogant.  

Someone will give him a wake up call.  It will not be me but I did want to warn anyone that is looking that this guy is not what he presents himself to be.  

But if you like abuse, go for it.  Because that is what you are going to get.
