 I ordered an item from Adorama on Feb 23rd and then went to the web site to check on my order 4 days later. My order was not found anywhere but my money had come out of my checking account. I tried to contact Adorama by email but got no response from them.  I called them several time and finally got a hold of someone and was told they did not show an order from me. I placed the order again on the 27th of Feb and I am still waiting for it to arrive as of Mar 5th. They advertise 1 to 3 day shipping...that is a lie.  Adoramas customer service is a joke and they do not care about their customers. They have not tried to resolve my issues. I will take my business somewhere else and I recommend you do too.

I never said I ordered over the phone, I did it on your web site. I called because I could not find it on your site under return customers. I was told I had no order when I called. I placed the second order on your web site from my house. Why do you twist the facts Helen. Go back and read it again. You might need to read more than once because you are confusing what I said with someone else"s complaint .Once again Helen I have checked and I do not have countless emails from you, just responses like this one.........no emails. You will pay for return shipping or I will seek the help of my attorney.

Adorama refuses to admit mistake

Customer stated that he "went to the website to check [my] order 4 days later. My order was not found anywhere"…… THAT IS TRUE.

When I asked him what and how he was searching on the Adorama website for his order - as he claimed he did not receive an order confirmation number…. I  DID NOT RECEIVE ONE BY EMAIL… - he refused to respond to me…YOU HAVE MY PHONE NUMBER. WHY NOT SEND ME AN E MAIL, I GOT ONE FROM YOU..  It simply isn't possible to log into a website to search for an order, without an order number…… I WENT TO THE WEB SITE, MY ACCOUNT, DOWN TO ORDER STATUS. RETURN CUSTOMER AND SIGNED IN, NO ORDER FOUND THEN I CALLED THE NEXT DAY AND WAS TOLD I HAD NO ORDER…once again Helen. I CALLED ADORAMA ON THE 26th….PLACED ORDER AGAIN.... I REFUSED TO RESPOND, COME ON HELEN. DO I NEED TO COMPLAIN EVERY DAY? I HAVE A JOB, CAN NOT GET ON THIS SITE ALL THE TIME LIKE YOU CAN. I WAS AT WORK WHEN I PLACED THE FIRST ORDER AND YES I SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN THE NUMBER DOWN BUT WAS TOLD I WOULD GET A NUMBER BY E MAIL..I DID NOT GET ONE !

When I asked the customer for his bank details so that I could try to trace his order by going backwards from the payment authorization, it took four emails before he replied to me…I LOOKED HELEN, DID NOT FIND 4 EMAILS…CHECKED THE SPAM BOX ALSO..  Instead, he spent his time leaving false reviews everywhere possible……YOU EMAILED ONCE AT MY EMAIL ADDRESS AND THEN I SENT IT TOO YOU. THIS SITE DOES NOT COUNT AS A CONTACT SITE AND NONE OF MY REVIEWS HAVE BEEN FALSE.

The bottom line is, Adorama does not charge until an order is shipped - EVER… HAPPENED TOO ME…

a) refused to believe this - even though we ship around 30,000 orders each week to satisfied customers who would testify to this….NOT ALL ARE HAPPY HELEN…

b) refused to accept that the first order he placed was delayed due to blizzard conditions, which made it impossible for UPS to deliver within the expected time frame…..NO ONE TOLD ME THIS. NOT UPS OR ADORAMA. I WAS TOLD I DID NOT PLACE AN ORDER THAT IS WHY I DID IT AGAIN. I DID GET A CONFIRMATION ON SECOND TRY AND IT WAS STILL LATE.

c) refused to co-operate with all my attempts to assist him…..NOW THAT IS JUST NOT TRUE HELEN. I DID GET AN APOLOGY BUT NOT FROM YOU HELEN. I STILL WANT MY SHIPPING COST OF $42.00.

I sent Mark  - (((email redacted)))  proof that his order was shipped, in the form of the detailed tracking information from UPS. However, he continues to insist - in the most un-Christian way - that I am lying.... IT WAS A NICE JOB OF COPY AND PASTE FROM SOMEONE ELSE'S ORDER. I NEVER GOT THE INFO FROM UPS OR ADORAMA. FIRST TIME I SAW IT WAS ON THIS SITE.  I WAS TOLD WHEN I CALLED THAT I HAD NO ORDER, THAT IS WHY I PLACED A SECOND ONE.

He also continues to refuse to recognise that UPS was unable to deliver his order due to blizzard conditions, even though it states quite clearly on the detailed tracking information from UPS that bad weather was delaying his delivery....I DID NOT KNOW THAT UNTIL I READ THIS. IT GOT CLOSE I SEE BUT NO FIRST ORDER.

He also refuses to believe that we do not charge a customer's account until an order ships.....YES I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT BECAUSE IT HAPPENED TO ME.

 Helens response was, Customer refused all efforts to help him. I am so mad I could spit nails...What a load of crap.You took my money but never processed my order the first time. They had to have my bank info so I sent it to them. why cant they pull up an order with your name. Then they tell they shipped the first one but it must have got lost...B.S.. This place sucks. They screwed up and will not admit it.

It is obvious that Helen Oster didn't read my complaint. I have said repeatedly that  I ordered an item from Adorama on Feb 23rd and then went to the web site to check on my order 4 days later. They say 1-3 day delivery guaranteed. My order was not found anywhere but my money had come out of my checking account. I tried to contact Adorama by email but got no response from them. I told them to call me but they never did. I called them several times and finally got a hold of someone and was told they did not show an order from me. I placed the order again on the 27th of Feb. I did received my order on the 6th of March which was 2 weeks after I had originally placed my order but by that time I had contacted Adorama and told them I would be returning it. Helen has completely ignored the fact that my original order on Feb 23rd did not get processed by Adorama but my payment from my checking account did and to blame UPS is ridiculous. Helen asked for my bank statement and I did email it to her 3 times but have not received a confirmation.I sent her proof of both payments made. Adorama dropped the ball and now they are refusing to admit the mistake and their spokes person Helen is pointing fingers in the wrong direction.

As I wrote to Mark in an email dated March 7th, as I responded to him on Yelp March 8th, as I responded to him on SiteJabber yesterday, March 10th...............

Dear Mark

Your Adorama order #A2015022817561413415 was placed on Saturday February 28th. It was shipped Monday March 2nd, the first UPS business day after your order was placed.

It should have been delivered Thursday March 5th, therefore UPS were at fault, not Adorama.

I can't be sure, however, it could be that adverse weather conditions caused the delay in the delivery of your order.

You are most welcome to return the item to us, and your refund will be processed once it has been booked back in.

I am still waiting for you to send me a copy of your credit card statement highlighting the erroneous charge that you stated was made to your card, so that I can ask our accounts department to investigate.
