Washington State

If you live in Washington State, anyone you loan from has to be licensed in Washington and must follow the strict guidelines.  Your best option is to make a stop payment on the ACH transaction at least three business days before the scheduled withdrawal, send an email to them and let them know you can not make the scheduled payment, and ask for  a six month payment plan.  If you have paid back more than you owe, send them a copy of the washington law and let them know you will not be sending any more money.

If consumers mistakenly use an unlicensed payday lender the law provides that the loan is uncollectable and unenforceable, Bortner added, but if the unlicensed payday lender has access to the consumers bank account, that doesnt really help."Information regarding Washington State payday lending laws are available at http://dfi.wa.gov/consumers/education/payday_loans.htm."

Let me guess - you stupidly signed a contract without reading it - right ???  It's no one's fault  but yours.  Wise up, or you'll continue to rip yourself off.
