Received work order from AFM for some sign work at a local mall. We spent almost a whole work day troubleshooting and trying to repair the sign, plus we purchased a non-returnable part for the sign.
When we reported the sign was still not working properly after several hours, AFM asked for a referal to a local company that specialized in signs.
Now AFM refuses to pay our time and materials because we were not "qualified" to work on the sign and didn't complete the work order. AFM says it's our fault and should've known we weren't "qualified" and should have refused the work order instead of wasting time.
I have spent countless hours of my time leaving messages and sending emails, all for nothing. No return calls, no response to my emails. Nothing. In the event you actually speak to a real person, don't let them go. You will most definitely either get disconnected or stuck in the carousel of transfer to the "responsible" department.
Never perform service work for this company. If they call - run!
