*Consumer Comment: To Bad You Did Not Research This Scam
I read an ad in the Thrifty Nickel about making good money from home, I sent $22 to the place called Advanced Marketing by debit card, they also state that they have a directory with other offers I wrote to them asking why wasn't it included in the package & why is the offer a bit different than they described in the ad, however I have heard nothing back form the in Almst a month and there is no number to call!

1. Their address is a rented post office box as a UPS Store
2. They have an F rating with the BBB and 18 complaints as of this writing
3. You cannot make money mailing envelopes / brochures, etc. This is a scam dating back to the 1920's, during the Great Depression. Despite thousands of warning online against this scam, people continue to fall for this, for some reason.
4. There are 78 reports on this website alone, where people have been scammed by this company
You did right in reporting them here. Also, report to the BBB, the FTC, your local Postmaster for fraud thru the USPS, the consumer protection division of you local State Attorney General's Office. I also recommend you contact the Dept of Revenue in Illinois and the IRS. Advise them they are taking cash from people and most likely are not paying state or federal taxes.
