advantage capital takes my money ..another credit card scam by phone

I was called in the middle of January by advantage capital about a mastercard, and since i have bad credit i was looking forward to rebuild my credit, i thought since it was from mastercard that it would be a great way to do it. I was told that the information package would cost $19.99. I thought that 20 dollars was cheap if they could help so I agreed i gave them permission to electronically withdraw the $20 which took almost a month for them to do.

They finally sent the package out i recieved it on saturday february 23rd in the letter it stated that i would recieve a free 7 day trial then after the free 7 day trial is over, there is a one-time $59.95 prcessing fee and a low annual membership fee of just $99.95. which i would normally understand but since i had just gotten back from vacation in went to the store on wednseday february 27th to buy some photo albums for the pictures and was told that the couldnt accept my debit card for $15 well i was extremely upset.

when i got home i called my bank and they said i was negative $117 when i went through and got a detailed list of what was withdrawn there was two electronical withdraws one of $59.95 and the second for $99.95 both from ADV. i told my bank that i had never authorized these withdraws and the person i had talked to gave me the number of the company that had withdrawn the money. when i called i reached advantage capital so by this time i was very upset and when one of the reps answered the phone she was rude i told her who i was and why i was calling and she told me legally there was nothing i could do about getting the $59.95 back but i could get the $99.95 back, when i asked to speak to a supervisor she said that she was the supervisor.

i was so upset that i tried to give the phone to my aunt, whom i live with and who also helps me to balance my money (in short she is basically my accountant)and we were told that she couldnt tell her anything without me on the phone so i got back on the phone and she continued to tell us there was nothing i could do to get the 59 dollars back then we got disconnected.

i called back today and finally got to a supervisor and he gave me the address but told me that there is no phone number that they have the only way they have to get ahold of the company is through email and they cant give that out.

when i got on the internet to try to find a number for them on the internet yellow pages it said there is no listing for them. so until my bank gets through with the investigation i am out basically 160 dollars plus the check fees for the checks that they cause to bounce which is another 200 dolloars. i hope everyone who gets a call from them now checks them out before giving them their account information.
