I have had an extended service plan on my washer and dryer since they were new.  The warranty is through Assurant Solutions.  I renewed the warranty June of 2013. Both washer and dryer developed problems and I called Assurant Solutions (888 481 4849) July 24th 2013 and scheduled an appointment. 

A&E is the service provider and the first appointment was scheduled two weeks out on August 1st 2013 between 12pm - 5pm.  No one called or showed up so I called A&E and I was told that the tech had a car wreck and was not going to show up and that it would be two more weeks before another tech would be available.  I was never called and informed.  I had to call.

The Scheduled date was August 19th 2013. On the 19th A&E Service Tech  (Butch).  Butch told me he would have to order parts and that it would be two weeks before he could return. He scheduled an appointment for August 9th 2013.

 On August 9th, A@E Tech Butch returned and replaced the parts and told me that everything worked.  I checked both washer and dryer before he left and found that both washer and dryer still did not work.  I told the tech that he needed to check the washer and dryer again because they still did not work. So he came back in and after checking out the washer and dryer said he would have to order additional parts and would return on September 16th. 

On the 16th I called Assurant Solutions and they advised me that a tech would be on site between 8am and 1pm.  At 1pm I called A&E and they said they had no appointments scheduled at all.  I Called Assurant Solutions and told them what had happened and the put me on hold while they checked with A&E.  I was told that there was a tech is scheduled for today and since he has not arrived that I would have to call A&E myself and see.  I called A&E tech Butch on his cell phone and he told me that he was not scheduled for today but on September 26th.  I was never told that and that's where I stand now.  When I called A&E back they stated their system was down and they had no way to help me.

 

I would like my washer and dryer Replaced.  The Tech has caused more damage and now they do no work at all.

 

I request reimbursement for the cost of having to pay a cleaners to wash my clothes.

 

After the washer and dryer is replaced or properly repaired, I want reimbursement for  the cost of the warranty from Assurant Solutions

I just found out who you are and who you work for.  I must say you have way with words.  You should run for office.  You have certainly watched a lot of c-span and cnn.  Congrats. 

Since you work for Assurance you should have no problem tomorrow looking my case up.  When you do, you will see that on December 10th, 2013 that Assurance did settle my case and did reimbursed me the cost of having to wash my clothes and per my extended warranty replaced both washer and dryer.  I just had to stand up and make them do what the warranty said it would.  Yes, it was very frustrating and I did not like the way they acted by waiting so long. 

When I read your response, I thought WOW, you should write a book!!  If you didn't work for them, I would say you were a dissatisfied consumer who purchased an appliance warranty and you were taking out your frustration by writing this childish response. 

Thanks for writing and it's good to see that I hit a nerve with you. 

Oh, by the way do you use a template and just cut and paste the info to fit the information?   I only ask because that someone else sent me three other rebuttals that were similar.

 

Let us know when you get your book written, I certainly buy a copy!! 

p.s. will it come with a warranty?

 You want....That's priceless!!!! YOU will ONLY get what is covered in the terms and conditions of the warrenty and NOTHING else. You can keep "wanting" and you can even make an a*s of yourself demanding. But its not going to happen. The most they MAY do is replace ONE of the units. Odds are though that YOU will receive NOTHING else. THEY are not legally responsible for your inability to wash your clothes. THEY are not legally liable to give you the money back on a warrenty that YOU are using to repair YOUR broken products. Were you dropped on your head a lot as a child? That's the ONLY reason I can find that would cause you to make unrealistic demands. Just be happy if they fix it. ANYTHING else is going to require an attorney and the costs of retaining that said attorney is going to be FAR MORE then just getting a new set of appliances. But HEY!!!! You go ahead and continue to make those demands. You DO realize that they can stop doing ANYTHING for you if they get tired of dealing with you. They will just say its a "pre existing" issue and YOU are just trying to scam them. THEY win and YOU lose and your demands are nothing more then hot air. You will ONLY get what the terms and conditions allow. To demand MORE then that truly makes YOU a scammer and they would be well within their rights to do nothing else for you. YOU may be a customer, but that gives you no more power to make demands then any other person who is not. YOU and every other consumer out there need to realize that NOW you are NOTHING to them. They could lose you and ten people that know you and it wouldn't hurt them AT ALL!! The old tenant of "The customer is always right" has not applied to our capitalistic market in almost 50 years. NOW its "The customer is a scamming thief". WHy?? Because people like YOU are proving this to be true everyday. What makes YOU think you have the RIGHT to demand anything other then what they have to do for you legally?? YOU are just a whiney crybaby whos looking to get ahead in life by trying to put the squeeze on someone with deeper pockets then yourself. YOU can stop anytime and still save something like dignity and face in the situation. I would suggest that you ONLY ask for what they LEGALLY have to provide for you by the terms and conditions of the warrenty that both parties signed. Anything else WILL be ignored because YOU DO NOT DESERVE EXTRA. Boohoo, you had to wash your clothing elsewhere. Doesn't change the FACT that they were dirty and needed to be washed. That means that THEY don't have to pay you anything. We will only see America become great again when consumer like yourself LEARN THEIR PLACE!!!! YOU don't have the right to make extra demands. And please spare us the "its not fair" line of BS you planed on rebutting with. LIFE ISNT FAIR!!!! Its a dog eat dog world out there and nothing out there is fair. FAIR is a tool that's used to mollify children. Adults know better, atleast they should. Some, like yourself think "fair" is giving you your way. Heres a thought. If you REALLY wanted fair, then dont you think the pittance you paid for a warrenty was a bit too cheap?? Maybe YOU should pay for ALL of the associated costs? YOU broke both the washer AND dryer. WHY should THEY be held accountable because YOU cant take care of what you own?? Im guessing you really don't want to play the "fair" game anymore. Because if you did, you would see where you are already screwing them over on the repairs given the price of your warrenty. But hey.....Its only UNFAIR when its you riiiiiight?
