When I first started working here, it was okay. We had a Vice President of the School" Paul Woessner that did not know anything about running a school but was understanding, honest and willing to learn. The Vice President of Business Development Ed Carrasco wanted the Vice President of School title. Ed had myself and another co worker go against paul and complain to Dave who is the CEO. Well overnight Dave gave Ed the title and moved paul over to business development. Once Ed got inthe chair he fired alot of people by setting them up.. Literally... never seen anything like it.

He wanted to fire this lady in accounting and since HR said she needed something in writing he went ahead and got statements from a few people and put it in her file and then fired her. When he told everyone that he had write a statement, that he was just going to talk to her about the issues to ensure they dont happen again. A guy named Mike kern he was security compliance and he set him up, he was upset because Kern never agreed with what Ed wanted to do so Ed thought he would find something to let him go with.

So Kern is in charge of campus safety so fire drills and alarms etc are his duties. well Ed asked Kern what happens if there is a fire at 3am would the student know what to do, Kern said no I was going to practice with them once I was done with the compliance policies, well not a good enough answer for ed so they got into a small argument Kern said I will make sure it get dones this week. Coincidently, the fire alarm goes off at 3 am and Ed is the first to arrive at the scene, when noone called him. He simply just couldnt sleep.

Then ever since the school has been opened there was no fires, all of the sudden a fire breaks out in student dorms at 2 am and again ed is first at the scene, supposively the janitorial people put out of the dryer towels in a plastic bag and thats what caused it...coincidently...then he fires Kern for all of these activities that happened. Mind you this has not happened until Ed got in the that chair and felt like picking on Kern. Then he compliments me on my work ethics, and habits and offer me a 2500 raise..he gives it to me.

 Then I took a day off as personal time which was a friday and that friday he goes through my office, takes all of my CYA files "Cover your a*s" and destroys them.. monday morning my office is inside out and he fires me..after good review and evaluation and a raise. What went wrong!! I know I knew toooo much! Then him and HR are there at the office until 11pm alone with door4 locks and lights off... everyone gets a 2500 raise and she received a 15K raise.. I wonder Why??? Favoritism..thats for sure. All the men made more money than the women, regardless of title, credentials or workload.

I was a director of financial aid making $55K and there was a male admission advisor making more than myself. 2 weeks later, they hired a male director of admission at $65K after they had just told me that they could only pay me $55 because that was thier budget, when I was making prior to them $70K. The HR manager was making $60 after her raise of $15K. When I started to realize everything they were doing, I started to question HR, she got very defensive.

Especially when I asked about the pay structure and the equal opportunity pay act she got upset and about 1 to 2 weeks later I get fired for no apparent reason which is okay because florida has the employer right act..I also asked her if Department of Labor came here today for an audit would the company pass the audit, she clearly and bluntly said no we would not pass. Because they are doing so many questionable things.. For example; students who pay a deposit for dorms, and they never attend the school is suppose to return that and they have not returned any of those funds, they claim they dont know what money goes to who..

By law anything that states refundable, should be refunded regardless if the student request the funds or not, and they have not refunded any of those students monies. This company has a dishonest, crooked ex military "sadly" man running the school. He is dishonest and care about nobody but himself, he betrays to be fun and caring and really is not. He is so dishonest, I really think this school should be investigated to protect the consumers, staff etc.
