affordable marine crystal river FRAUD,unethical business pratices crystal river, Florida

I am a Licensed USCG Captain. I operate my Charter Business out of Citrus County.I called  John Boscarino at his Affordable Mobile Marine in Crystal River come out and, to have Carbs cleaned. It ran but bogged on full throttle. I got it back took out customers, and the boat would not even plain. This is after $400 for carbs cleaning. He sent out a tech, they said it needed a coil. I disagreed, but allowed them to install.

Did not help the problem, I took the boat to John's shop and they had it a total of 3 months. John continued to tell me it needed a new brain. This put the boat out of service  for this period. I went out and they had taken the boat to the water and brought it back half off the trailer. Then dry cranked it in front of me and broke the trailer winch.

I packed up the boat and took it to local Yamaha Dealer who in 2.5 hrs. had it running great. Parts that I paid Affordable Mobile Marine to install were not even installed. A couple of the Jets had been replaced, but some were original. I am not saying John is not qualified, but someone there is not!

John agreed to pay me the double billing on labor, as well as for the parts not replaced, but charged for. It has been 6 months and I still get excuses, no return call, and no refund. 

Certified Mechanics at a reputable Dealer is a lot less expensive in the long run.

I have known John Boscarino since I contracted Powerplay Marine in Fort Lauderdale to build a new 33' Powerplay in February 2000. John was extremely helpful with the many decisions to make regarding the build out of my boat. The boat was delivered on time with exceptional build quality.

That boat was sold 2 years ago and I purchased an older 25' Powerplay which is presently being restored by John at Affordable Mobile Marine. I'm extremely pleased with Affordable Mobile Marine progress. I live over 200 miles away and could have had the work done locally, however my past experience in dealing with John influenced my decision to have John do the work.

I visited Affordable Marine last week and told John that their was a negative complaint on the Web Site "Ripoff Report. He immediately ask me to view the file that he sent to the Credit Card Company validating his reason for charging this customers Credit Card. After review the Credit Card determined that Affordable Mobile Marine charge on this customers Credit Card was valid.

I would also had that the individual that filed this complaint be advised the untruthful comments about others could have negative financial consequences.

I have great respect for John Boscarino and highly recommend John, and his staff at Affordable Mobile Marine.

Affordable marine has rebuilt my boat and did an exemplary job.  The work detail rivals what you see in the best hotrod shops . . . flawless wirering, attention to hidden details, etc.  I wonder if the comments were made by a real customer, I can't beleave they are about the same company that worked on my boat.
