air 7 seas was hired buy me to ship my personal goods from N.J. U.S.A. to Sydney Australia . the agreed price was $729.00 door to port fore 3 cubic meters or there abouts.   I wanted to pay for the shipment up-front but air 7 seas would not do that and only took a deposit of $500.00 . They picked-up my goods and took them to their warehouse in north jersey where they would palatalize and shrink rap my goods . I then two days later court my plane to Sydney ,  I had no further contact from air 7 seas and about 8 weeks had passed , still no contact from air 7 seas so i made contact with them to confirm the date that my goods would arrive in Sydney and was informed that the vessel that my goods are on would arrive on the 19Th of Jan 2012 and that their agent in Sydney would contact me a week before the vessel would arrive . Well a week before the 19Th i receive an e-mail from air 7seas informing me that i owed them $1,300.00 before they would send the Bill of Lading so i could get my goods released . I immediately sent them an e-mail asking why they sent me a bill for $1,300.00 when i had a contract with them for $729.00 and that they should check their records . they then sent me another e-mail stating that i now owe them $800.00 as i had paid the deposit of $500.00 . Again i sent them an e-mail still asking why they are now asking for $800.00 , they then informed me that i was over in the amount of goods that was agreed , by .560 of a cubic miter as i tolled them that i had 3 cubic meter or there abouts . they never contacted me before they shipped my goods to inform me of this discrepancy and shipped my goods . I finaly got them down to $680.89 and sent them the credit card nu. the same one that their took the deposit from without any hassle , but now their telling me that i have to sign a form before their can the use the same card as before . I still have not received my B.O.L. and with out that i can't get my goods released and if i don't get it within the next 24 hrs i more than likely be charged $190.00 per day that my goods sit at a warehouse. I can't afford that kind of money . So  the EXTRORTION by air7seas .....these people are out right criminals ...

This incident is an Year old.

The shipping charges increased only because the shipment size was more than the estimate in the quotation provided before handling the shipment. In this example shipment, the client's shipment was almost double when received & palletized at our warehouse.

 

Client underestimated his shipment size causing him frustation but we did provide all informaton & documents for his satisfaction and regret that we could not satisfy enough to stop him posting this listing.


Independent warehouse's receipt showing Weight & Dimension to determine the size was provided with the charges as proof.

 

We now try that the client has all the information to their satisfaction before we ship the their personal goods.
