My heating unit stopped working on 28 November 2008. I called this company because their sticker was attached to the unit. They said they would come out the following day, 29 November 2008, between 8am and 12 noon.

When no one had shown by noon the following morning, I called the company and was told the technician was on his way. No technician at 1pm so I called and received the same message that he was on his way. No technician at 2pm so I called and received the same message. No technician at 3pm so I called and yet again received the same message. Naturally I was annoyed by all this becuse I had wasted the day at home waiting for someone to show up.

Eventually, at 5pm the technician showed up!!! No apology, no concern, nothing. The unit was repaired but by the time he finished he could not verify if the parts that he replaced were covered by warranty because his office was then closed for the day. So I had to pay the full price for the repair items. I was told I would get a refund if the unit was under warranty.

I have been calling their office since the date of the repair (November 2008) and to date I have not received any refund and I keep having to repeat the same facts and request each time I call. In addition, there seems to be a different excuse each time as well even though I was informed in early December 2008 that my refund was valid and approved. This company just seems to be the worst in terms of customer service. I therefore would not recommend Airtron and would recommend that you avoid this company like the plague.

Had to call manufacturer to verify that the part was under manufacturer's warranty before refund could be issued. Manufacturer verify that is was
still under warranty.

Upon receiving verification that the part was still in warranty a check for the total amount was refunded to the customer. date of check was 1/23/2009
