I regret to say that I, too, have been taken in by the unscrupulous "bait and switch" business practices of the AJRichies website. I wish that I had researched this business before I made the mistake of ordering from them. I ordered a camera from them for $419 for a Christmas gift for my husband.

After 2 weeks, I got a message saying that I needed to contact them before they could process my order. I called and spoke with Mark, their Customer Service rep, who proceeded to convince me that I need to purchase several additional up-grades in order to make the camera usable; memory card, better battery, faster recharger, etc. These up-grades added over $200 to the original price...I began to feel that I had been "scammed"

I told my husband about it and he told me to call them back immediately, which I did. Mark told me that he would try to cancel the order, but, since this is a busy time of year, they try to rush orders through processing, and that it might be too late...after less than 1 hour? when they waited 2 weeks to contact to "confirm" my order? seriously? Sure enough, the new price was billed to my credit card right away.

My husband tried to contact them multiple times today, and his calls kept going to voice mail. Finally, he talked to a "live" person who told him that order had already been shipped, for delivery next week. I wanted to ship it back upon arrival, but he said that since the re-stocking fee would be exorbitant, that we might as well just "suck it up", and consider it a hard lesson learned. If the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. I hope that other people will see this complaint, and "Buyer beware!" when dealing with unknown websites!
