When I could not resolve the warranty matter with AjRichie.com, I filed a complaint with the BBB in NY.  As of now, the company has not responded to the BBB.  Below is the info. I provided to the BBB.  I hope no one else has to go through this!

  Complaint

  Against: AjRichie.com

  244 5th Avenue Suite J-231, , New York, NY

  Nature   of Complaint:

Guarantee Or Warranty Issues - A dispute regarding the warranty  coverage and/or terms

  Problem:

  I purchased a camera on 3/5/2012.

The purchase included a one year warranty. The camera started having problems  in early August. I talked to AjRichie.com (also can be found under AJRICHARD.COM). They  confirmed it was under warranty, but it had to go to Nikon for repairs. I was   provided the Nikon shipping information, and sent it out on 8/24/12. It cost   $39.52 to ship it to Nikon via UPS. Nikon sent me an email informing me that   there would be apx. $253.00 worth of repairs as it was NOT under warranty.

They told me the camera was refurbished and that the warranty only covered   the first 90 days. I have tried to talk to someone at AjRichie's to resolve   this matter, but they stated Nikon sets the warranty terms. When I call   AjRichie, I am put into a Customer Service voicemail, but have been   unsuccessful in getting anyone to address this issue. I feel that AjRichie
provided false information regarding the warranty. I would also like to   mention that AjRichie never mentioned the camera was refurbished when I was purchasing   it in March. If it helps, my credit card shows a different number next to the
charge (718-679-9937) for AJRICHIES.COM. There is also another address I found on the website:   3518 Flatland Ave in Kings, NY 11234.

   Desired   Outcome:

I would like the camera repaired   at no cost to me. I can provide the Nikon estimate information if that is   needed. The easiest way would be to have my credit card refunded the   estimated repair cost, and I will take care of the repairs. I would also like   to be refunded the cost of shipping the camera to Nikon.
