After requesting repairs for a shattered window and air conditioning, Alan Marudas raised my rent $100. Then, when I disagreed, he notified me I must sign a new lease and my rent would be increased. When I disagreed, he gave me seven days notice by email to vacate with my two small children. The unit is located at 6755 S. Field St, Unit 606, Littleton, CO 80128.
I have moved within the seven day timeframe and now Alan Marudas refuses to refund the amount I have paid for the month in advance, and refuses to walk through the unit to refund my damage deposit. DO NOT RENT FROM ALAN MARUDAS. He is unethical, refuses to answer emails, calls, texts, and refuses his mail. He even refused his keys to the vacated unit. A law suit is now pending along with a Civil Rights Complaint and an FHA complaint, both of which he refused to mediate by refunding any amount. AND THE WINDOW IS STILL SHATTERED. In Colorado, that makes a unit uninhabitable.
