ALFA Insurance made up lies to prevent 78 year old woman from retaining her home insurance ashville , Alabama

My mother had had home owners insurance  with this company for many years and all of the sudden they said they would not renew her, their excues was that she had to many  claims  (2 in 30 years) one of which they said was a total fire.

Well she has been in this home for almost 50 years and never had a fire only 2 storm damages. her insurance premium was like 385.00 a year well they said if she would pay 1200.00 a year they would keep her.

When i contacted these idiots in montgomery al they would not let me talk to who i wanted to they kept putting me through to idiots that said  the fire claim was a mistake and they would get it off. she ended up going to another company and paying a higher premium because they never took the lies off.

I contacted th bbb and they said that alfa refused to respond to them and does not acknowladge the bbb. i feel they so my mothers age and figured they had gotten all the money they could  from her  by her being 78 and it was almost impossable to get  insurance they caused her a lot of mental anguish as well as a financial burden because they knew she was on a small  fixed income.

Her agent randy martin and the ceo and several peopel from the home office in montgomery al intentionally screwed her over so i incourage anyone with a alfa policy to find another company before they stick it to you too. they put lies on the system in a few seconds and take moths to remove them that is sorry and i hired an attorny to find out if it is illegall as well
