All In One Automotive They are liars, and full of it! knoxville Tennessee

First of all I got a '99 VW beatle that needed some work done to it. Such as, transmission leak, oil leak, the driver side door had some electrical issues (no power), dry rotted hoses, o2 sensor, and the speedometer. I take it down to All In One Automotive on Callahan Drive on 3/6/2014. I talked to a man named Dwight, which seemed like a nice, honest man. He told me that they would check it out, and call me back with an estimate of what it would cost to fix the majority of the issues with the car. We went back and forth with each other, talking about what we could afford, and what were the major problems that needed to be fixed ASAP. We finally reached an agreement, after I got my boyfriend involved. Dwight was wanting to charge me $1800 something. My boyfriend, somehow got it lowered to $917.61. We agreed, whether is was written on the reciept or not, we agreed to an amount, and what exactly was going to be fixed.

I go down on 3/7/2014 to pick it. We paid them in full (due to this car credit thing he had us sign up for.) I had my mom with me, and she also had an understanding of what was going on, and what was agreed upon, so she was aware. Dwight is walking us out to the car to explain to me what all he had "done to fix it." First thing my mom asks is, "so the speedometor works?" Dwight hesitated and acted confused, as if he had forgotten the agreement. Like I said, I don't care if it written down on paper or not, we had a verbal agreement, period, point blank. Dwight said he would fix my car, and it wasn't finished like he said it was. So he has me drive down to Advanced Auto Parts to pick up a part that Dwight said they would have to fix the speedometor. I take it to All In One, it was the wrong part! So I had to wait a few hours for someone to bring the part to All In One, that I needed. Dwight made sure to keep informing me "he was paying for it, this is for free, I'll buy the part," blah blah.. Oh he also admited that he "forgot to do the speedometer." (umm okay dwight I already paid, and I was about to leave?? after paying 917$$??) If you are anything like us, we work hard, and dont have the time or money to just throw away on mechanics who are full of s**t! Anyway, that part I had to wait for didnt work, so Dwight told me to come back. I came back the following Monday. Transmission still leaked, pretty much nothing was fixed the first time like he was telling me.

To make a very long story short, today 3/26/2014 this is the FOURTH time we had to bring it back!! The door panel is about to pop off from where they fixed the electrical stuff in there, they didn't put the door on correctly, there are still leaks that weren't fixed, and not to mention the car just make funny noises now that it didn't make before.

We did some research to find the owners/managers of All In One Automotive. We found the owners dad somehow, and he told us how to get ahold of his son GARY CHITWOOD(the owner). His father wrote all info down, very helpful,  and passed it along for us. We go down to All In One to meet with the owner GARY. He was TOTALLY disrespectful!! Told me to shut up several times, kept talking over me and and my boyfriend, THREATENED to break my boyfriends "F*****g neck" Said he was going to call the the cops on us, and tried kicking us of the property, even though he would not let us say a word from the start??!! Keep in mind GARY does not know what was going on, we had been dealing with dwight, up until this point. After being accused of lying about the broken door, and after the threat my boyfriend started to dial 911 to report the threat. It is at that point that GARY started pleaing that all he wanted to do is "fix the car." There were witnesses.  

The most rude man I have ever met. Now tell me how is it okay for an "owner" of a business to be able to talk to a paying customer like that, we already paid!! We shouldn't have had to bring it down a FOURTH time. After paying OVER $900.00??????

We just wanted my car fixed, we were dreading bringing it back down for a fourth time! We didnt want to be "those people."

DO NOT GO TO ALL IN ONE AUTOMOTIVE ON CALLAHAN DRIVE! They will rip you off and bullshit you all the way down to river! Not worth all the trouble we had to go through. It was sickening having to leave my car there for a fourth time after GARY CHITWOOD talked to us like that! I work in customer service, it does not matter if the customer is spitting on you, you hold yourself together and not threaten your PAYING customers!!

This had caused both of us stress, and cost us both time and money, having to take off work, and to keep driving back and forth several times. We think this is absurd, and GARY CHITWOOD should no longer be able to own and operate his business. Something needs to be done, and any kind of advice or legal help would be MUCH appreciated.
