Hurricane Gustav knocked down a huge oak tree in my back yard. It was so big that a bobcat was needed to haul the pieces away.

The bobcat tore the lawn up and left depressions in the soil that contained water days after a rain fall. This standing water allowed mosquitoes to breed by the thousands.

I called All Seasons and made an appointment with the owner, Peter Mayeaux, to inspect the yard and write up a proposal for me to submit to my insurance company.

Mayeaux said something about the cost being over $4000, but he would write up the proposal and email it to me.

Five days later, I called All Seasons and asked about how long it would take to send the proposal. The clerk said I needed to talk to Tess. However, Tess was busy and would call me. Tess never called.

The following day I called again and asked for Tess. Tess was busy again but would return my call. Tess did not call.

The next day I called again and asked for Tess, but as usual, Tess was busy but would return my call. This time I left a different message as follows:

Due to the mosquito problem I will pay for the work myself and deal with
the insurance company later. Just call me with the total cost, so I can
float a loan if necessary.

Again, Tess did not return my call. I knew that Tess was ignoring my calls and giving me the run-around. However, I assumed that the owner did not know about this. What sane business would pass up over $4000 cash in business?

The following day I wrote a note to the owner, Peter Mayeaux, asking him to call me with the cost, so I could get a loan if necessary. Due to mosquitoes, I wanted to start ASAP, pay for the work, and submit bill insurance later.

Peter did not call me proving he had told Tess to ignore me. What kind of business owner treat a customer this way and leave the family in hordes of mosquitoes?

How much trouble would it have been to pick up a phone as simply say he decided not to do the job?

This proves he does not give a d**n about all of his customers.
