this place is such a joke! first they had me wait 25 min to go into the interview. the guy who interviewed me, Jimmy, looked horrible. I came in a suit and I out dressed him, and I am supposed to work at a place like this? it smelled like weed and he danced around a lot of direct quesitons I asked about the job position and responsibilities. the admin up at the front was really nice, but the company over all is a joke. commission and a dead end opportunity. glad I didnt accept the position they offered and I am working for a legit company now. Kirby appliances...this company is a waste of time.

The real truth

AUTHOR: Theasstmngr - (United States of America)

A: this company has not been esrablished for 19 years, Jason isn't that old and Kevin has his own company.
B: this is very hard work for $8.50 an hour, assuming you make $100 a day and work from 7 to 7.
C: if you want to learn how to overcome objections, this is a good starting point, it will build confidence in your communication skills.
D: you need to have a limited personal life, (no wife, kids or weekend trips) or you will not succeed.
E: don't buy your own product, you will not make any money.
F: don't trust your fellow crew leaders, remember you are out to get an office for yourself and so are they.
G: don't use a small vehicle, you need space for recruits (day of observations) and your product.
H: most importantly, keep your eyes open, learn as much as you can, if it works for you Great, if not Be looking out for an opportunity.
Lastly, keep all your paperwork and log each week/month in take home pay and expenses (gas, food, pens) for tax purposes.

The Real Truth

AUTHOR: All Star - (United States of America)

It is a sad and unfortunate thing that individuals feel the need to waste their time composing a poorly written, misspelled, pointless article on a company that has been well established and growing for over 19 years. The fact of the matter is that this person is not with the company, so leave well enough alone and keep your ignorant opinions to yourself. To address the following issues:
1. If you've never had to wait for an interview, then you've never been to an interview. This complaint is pointless.
2. Your opinion of the person, horrible, is rude and unprofessional. No one cares if you wore a suit.
3. The company has no control over the smell that you detected. Employees are drug tested routinely, so your accusation is completely unfounded.
4. Questions about detailed inner workings of the company are not divulged in an interview, to a complete stranger who has not been hired. Questions are answered in orientation and training.
5. The company is not a joke. The fact that this statement is even made shows the lack of maturity and professionalism the composer possesses.
