All State Van Lines Relocation LLC Bait and switch, coercive, liars Margate Florida

I entered into a contract with All State  Van Lines Relocation LLC  for $2777.00 for a move from Laurel, Md to Scottsdale, Az on April 17, 2016 for delivery on April 25, 2016.  As soon as I gave then my non-refundable deposit they proceeded to ignore their quote and told me that they actually charge by the pound, then refused to give me the tare and loaded weights and fuel status of the truck and claimed i had 3,120 pounds of belongings. (More like 1,500 at most).

I was living in a 1 bedroom apartment of about 720 square feet and I am a senior citizen living alone. Every verbal statement they gave me was a lie and they defrauded me for over $4,000.00 plus $1800.00 I had to pay to replace the bed they destroyed during packing. I was also coerced into paying another $420 or so for their deluxe containers even though the deposit money included two men to pack and $300 in containers which were never used.

My quote included packing containers for my bed and box spring. Instead they blanket wrapped my box spring and folded my mattress over head to toe and blanket wrapped it, ruining it. They did, however, charge me for 455 pounds to ship the ruined pieces from Maryland to Arizona and also charged me for the containers they did NOT use. I submitted a receipt for the $1800 it cost me to replace the bed but was totally ignored by All State Van Lines Relocation LLC. The company did not deliver my belongings for a month and when they did deliver it was a partial shipment.

Their representative told me the file cabinet and lamps had been damaged too severely to ship. I kept telling them to ship the contents, they kept saying it wasn't safe to do so. A week later, however, the missing items were delivered in good condition. My pots, pans and skillets, however haven't been seen or heard from since. They will tell you to buy their insurance for an extre few hundred dollars but you should know there is a $1000 deductable making that worthless.

Their manager admitted that they were negligent in packing the bed but would not re-imburse me for it.
