I am an indenpendant insurance adjustor, I went to work with Allied American Adjusting, a subcontracting company that contracts with large insurance companies.

Such companies as All State, State Farm, USAA, in this case Louisiana Citizens of Louisiana.

I was dispatched to the New Orleans, Louisiana area to work due to the damages from Hurricane Katrina and help the people retrieve the money they were owed from the insurance company.

The day of induction we were given a 22/24 page information packet. We were not given time to read this information.

Tracy Wilson keep saying hurry and sign all the papers and send them back up front because we have too much to go over and not enought time to do so.

She said; we will give you all the help you will need in order to get the work done because, we need files finished in a real bug hurry.

I told her and my team lead Susan Townley I would need help on the new programs for I had never worked with the "sims" program before, not too worry, we all are new to this program.

The first day before deployment I had again ask Susan Townley for help, I was told she would line some one up to help me but to go on out in the field and start my inspections.

She told me to make sure I send an e-mail to her every day telling her of what is going on.

I was in the field for four days before returning to Mobile. Whene I saw Susan she jumped on me about not sending her and e-mail or calling her on the phone.

I said; well I have been working in 98 degree heat with no food and water, no where to sleep and no where to take a shower, I thought I was helping by doing my work per her orders.

I had no way to call her all the towers were down, there was no electric to send an e-mail. I told her of my working conditions and she was more concerened with no e-mails.

I told her at that point I had seven inspections compleat and need help to finish them up, she again said she would get some one to help me and was sent back to grond zero.

I returned back to Mobile after another five days and again not worreyed about my health she could only complain about no e-mails.

I told her with the work conditions I was working under that an e-mail was the last thing on my mind. Again I asked for help.

Susan asked me; how many files do you have compleated?, I said; 13 or 14., she said; good because all adjustors had until Sunday at close of business to have 13 files compleated and turned in ready for payment.

Again I asked for help with none given in order to close my files, I needed to do this a.s.a.p. because they would be paying me about $60,000.00 and I needed payment for I was runing out money.

The other files had been reasigned to another adjustor, By that coming Thursday I had been blocked from the "sims" program, so I could not finish my files, Four days before my dead line.

I would not be paid for all the work done to date and would not be paid for the file or files turned in.

Now I guess this will go to court, the problem of this company they do not know I am protected by Federial Franchise Laws and they will have an expensive lesson.

I have learned a very expensive lesson and will never let some one promise.

This company does not care about the adjustor they only care about what money they make. I have to pay them 35% of what I make, yet they say they pay me 65% of what I make.

People that work for companies like this one do not care about the people in the field only what the person can make for them

The way they want you to work is 18/22 hours a day, 7 days a week with out time off or down time. They do not care if you have no food, water, or a place to sleep.

They are in the air-conditioning office and drive you like a slave in order to make them as much as you can. Not careing about the adjustor.

The insurance companies they contract out too also do not care about the adjustors. What about the adjustors that work in 98 degree heat, no food, no water, no place to sleep.

An adjustor that works in these conditions I would think for I know only vare about the people in need.

After all this had happened, I made them an offer of for them to give me back my investment of $3,000.00 in a form of an addvancement and 100 files.

Then I would forget about what Susan had done to me and would go forth with no hard feallings.

I guess they do not like a man that speeks his mind, well I would rather be that man and not an as! kisser.

It is clear that Redbow is incredibly upset over the time that he spent working for our company and it is also diappointing that the vast majority of the rebuttals have been geared at demeaning the character of all involved instead of clearing up several misunderstanding/ misrepresentations.

As the assistant to the Catastrophe Director of Allied, I personally spent over two weeks doing little more than calling apartment complexes, hotels, and campgrounds in order to secure housing for our adjusters. As many in this industry will tell you, most companies DO NOT provide this service for their adjusters.

The paperwork given to the adjusters on their first day has step by step instructions on how to uce our Claims Information Management System. We have an entire floor of our building dedicated to the training of adjusters who are less experienced with our system, the software we use, or any aspect of the industry. This area was in its earliest stages when Redbow was employed with us but one stop at my desk would have been an opening for any of this information.

Allied does not pay adjusters for their cell phone usage or mileage. Citizens of Louisiana proveides up to 15 dollars per claim for gas money and most adjusters do anywhere from 4-10 inspections a day. i can promise you that even if he was staying in Mobile and driving to New Orleans (a two hour trip one-way), 60-150 a day for gas should be sufficient for even the largest vehicles (which are a favorite of adjusters everywhere).

I would like to point out to Mr. Redbow that the lack of Mrs. Townley's comments on this site is more a reflection of her class in the face of insults than of her backbone. Mrs. Townley is a highly intelligent and even-tempered woman who most likely feels no need to defend herself ecause she is aware of her ACTUAL strengths and weaknesses as opposed to the ones carelessly pointed out by a man who spent very little time speaking to her.

While there are about a million things i could comment on here, I'm going to point out one common misconception that Mr. Redbow has perpetuated here and leave it at that. Adjusters are paid on a fee schedule. The more they pay out to the insured, the more they make. This is the way the checks and balances works in the insurance industry. And since we share the fee bill 65/35, why would our company fire an adjuster for trying to pay out more money to an insured? As long as the damages can be documented and justified, there shouldn't be a problem. Not to mention that many of the adjusters with Redbow's experience level would only make 60 percent with most companies.

So in conclusion, Mr. Redbow, I am very sorry that your experiences with our company were so negative, but your situation is clearly not the average eperience of our adjusters or we wouldn't have several hundred so willing to work hard for us every day.

First of all, Mr. Redbow, maybe you should research a company before you sign on. It might as well have been the company's mistake for hiring such an illiterate person. It's probably a good thing that your "clients" did not get their paperwork, because they probably wouldn't have known what a "rufe" or "fince" was. What is concerning to me though, is the fact that you have the nerve to call out "team leads" that have been doing this for years and have way more experience than you. I also want to acknowledge that I feel sorry for your fellow tribe members because if you are their "legal advisor" then they are in need of desperate help. One more thing, Mr. Cowboy might have been staring at your crotch just to see if you were really a man, because according to this site, you seem more like a "pu**y" who is just looking for an easy way out. There is an "Indian" college right down the road from mine, it's called Haskel University, maybe you should look it up. I heard that literacy is very important these days. On the other hand, you might have been right about the conditions that you were working in, but if you were working in these conditions, then many others were too, and they are not complaining about it!!! You have to work hard to get what you want...

Maybe you should go up to Montana and open a casino, if all else fails!

I will tell you what is correct wtih cowboys report and what is wrong.

Thank you for your rebuttal this proves that Susan can't even give a report with out the help of some one to do it for her.

Well where do I start with Mr Cowboy, I had been introduced to Mr. Keaton after joining us after about 7 days into the storm work.

When we were his eyes were transfixed on my crotch for the first 15 mib., after that I placed my laptop in front to block his vies, I hate this from a country cowboy.

We can't call any one of difference a f*g, so we just call them country cowboy's because, they like to play with another
cowboy's rope.

Susan told me to go to find any church in the ares because they were offering internet to all thet needed them, I told her I could not find one and asked, "if she had any address"? so you are wrong again.

I never looked for nor did I ask for any hand out. I would drive three hours to go home and eat and take a bath, I said I had no where there for this and would sleep in my car every other night.

Wrong agin, I took baths before comeing into the office, I am glad because, as much interest you showed in my crotch then this would make you a dirty rock rucker.

If you are going to sit 4 feet from some one please get all in confersation correct, or you did and just twisting it to fit your needs, cowboy you are good.

You sir are a bold face liar because, I never told you that I have sued someone because they disrespected me, what a cowboy, if I did I surly sue you.

With all the lies you have told here, you bald face lieing cowboy. Let see what other things did you say cowboy, no I was never kicked off the reservation.

Cowboy for your information I am the Tribal Spokesperson, Legal advisor and Medicine Man and Shawman for my tribe with 3,454 real people, unlike subhumans as yourself cowboy.

I had to use the office space by orders from Susan, this companey would not give you as much as apostage stamp to send the insureds a notice.

This companey would not allow money for cell phone usage, nor millage nor and thing, just herrasmnet.

Sorry excuse of a human you said, well I am a man that loves my wife and not another womans man, there cowboy.

You know you really shot your mouth off thinking I am in Alabama and you are safe in cybor space and we would never see each other again, well who knows.

Cowboy if you ever get down here to Alabama look me up and we will go fishing, no cowboy don't even think you are going to get to use my worm cowboy.

You might even be married if so this makes you a flip-flop good GOD cowboy get your self togeather.

This was a complaint about a compney that didn't even pay me for the files I turned in, not to hurl insulets at the one making the complaint.

What can one exspect from a company cowboy.
You sir are the one that should get alife you dirty rock rucker.

I work for Allied American and find them to be one of the best companies that I have worked with over the last forty years.

Ms. Townley is my team lead and I thank her for all the assistance she has given me with my assigned claims. She always responds to any questions in a timely manner. She is my pick for the best team lead in the industry.

I also thank the other people in the company that were always willing to help in any way requested.

I do not think that Mr. Redbow has any idea of how to do the jobs that were assigned to him.

I have never met this individual, nor do I want to, but I do know the people and the company that he has written about. Nothing could be futher from the truth. He should get a life.

My name is Richard Keaton. I am a Team Lead just like Susan was to Redbow. Me and Susan shared the same office and our desk were 4ft apart. I was in the office on several of the visits by Redbow. Mr Redbow first started off by tell his Team Lead "Susan" that he was sleeping in his car and no place to shower, no food to eat and looking for free hand outs at several churches."What is this man thinking" He even stated that the churches would not allow him to access there internet connection."They know a crook when they see one". Susan then offer Mr Rebow the use of some extra office space so he could complete his claims. Mr Rebow just refused to live like the normal human being. He could have stayed in a hotel and drove a couple of hours like all adjusters. When Mr Redbow would come into the office to visit Susan all he had to offer was complaints about his conditions."for God's sake man take a shower before you come into the office". Susan was more than patient with Mr Rebow. I would have told him to go home & get a job where he did not have to sleep in his car & have a place to shower and food to eat. Mr Rebow used our office space & used our office staff to attempt to complete his job. Mr Rebow was incompetant to do his own work,he could not even put two sentences together with out wining about something. Mr Rebow even told me he has sued other people before because they disrespected him? Well Mr Rebow you are a sorry excuse of a human being. If you are truly an Indian like you told me, I know now why they kicked you off the reservation. You are lazy and looking for a free hand out. My Indian friends, I have are hard working and willing to do the job they are asked to do. Please do every one a favor and go work at Waffle House where you can set your own hours and get a free meal. Respectfully yours. Richard Keaton.

The people were told by Allied several different stories such as; He has disappeared, we can not find him, he is gone and all of your files are gone with him, so we can not tell you we can finish your file.

Or; He could not do the work and no longer works for us.

Or; He was no good and diden't know how to do the work and was let go.

The best one of all but comes closer to the truth;
He was paying out too much money to the people and was let go.

Go to your search engine and type in Allied American Adjusting, one can find a link showing they are part of a 2 Billion $ law suit in Federal Court because of the pratice of cheating the people.

I am sorr for all the mis-spelled words.
