altCharge.com took payment for company they no longer deal with. No way of contacting the other co. Internet

Looking for health insurance on the internet.(mistake now learned) Found a great offer from Health Group. Paid 553.00 for start of insurance. Have heard nothing since. Their phone number no longer works. The copy of the check that was done over the phone is pay to the order of AltCharge.com. They claim to no longer be dealing with the Health group company. I believe that whoever the check is made out to is the party who received the money.

I believe it is up to altcharge to refund they money they took from me. They obviously don't check they credentials or background of the companies they do business so in my opinion they are responcible for the loss of my money. I know to alot of people 553.00 is not a lot of money but it is to someone who is not working and about to lose the COBRA insurance I have now.
