I am a 32 year old mother of 2, with a full-time job, so when I saw the commercial on t.v. "Because Life Takes energy", I thought, boy that's me. I need to try this stuff. I feel tired all the time and can't remember things because I have so much to remember. To top it off, they were giving me a 30 day trial for "free". So I got online to "Altovis.com" and placed my order for the free trial. With the exception of shipping, only $4.50, it was free at the time. So, I ordered my husband a "free" 30 day supply also.

After recieving the supply in the mail, my husband and I gave it a try. After about a week he refused to take the product anymore. He said it made him feel jittery and he just didn't feel right physically. So, he stopped. I on the other hand, longing for the energy I so needed to keep up with my job and 2 small children continued using the product. After about 2 weeks I was exhausted. I had not slept due to the "jitters" it gave me and the stomach cramps I was getting, so I gave it up.

When you place an order for the free sample they tell you you are automatically signed up for their "managed care" and that you will recieve a 60 supply if you don't cancel before they ship 5 days before your 30 day supply runs out. So, I made a note on the calendar to cancel the order, but my computer was doing what most computers do and being awnry, so I called the 1-800 number they provided. Well, lo and behold, I was on hold for 2 hours before this woman answers and agrees to cancel my order. She even provided a confirmation number for my cancellation.

Approximately 4 days later I recieved a 60 day supply in the mail for both my husband and I and a debit to my bank account for the sum of $140.00.

So I did what anyone in the free world would do and contacted the company via the not so expeditious 1-800 number again, and again, on hold for 2 hours, and again, a not so friendly woman tells me it is their strict policy of "no refunds". Well, I asked to speak to her supervisor, and again had a lengthy hold, to get a man, with the same telephone etique as the previous women I had spoke to telling me "No Refunds". Even though I tried to explain I had made my cancellation by "their" due date, I was still charged and still recieved a product that is of no use to me.

Now I understand why there are so many listings for this product on ebay. Consumers like myself trying to salvage any of the money that they lost from this "scam"..It happened to me, Don't let it happen to you!
